Hours listed online need to be updated to reflect what is posted on the front door. Online says they are open at noon on Saturday’s, when they actually open at 3:00. Super inconvenient, especially when you loaded kiddos in the car to come here.
I wish I had taken a photo of the amazingly rich looking and tasting!! butter pecan chip ice cream. It was some of the most flavorful and creamy ice cream I’ve ever had. (I even went back for seconds.).
The owner and the counter server (who was I think the owner’s son) were working that day. They had terrific rapport with each other and their customers. This just added to the experience. Skip the corporate ice cream shops in the area and get Whits!!

To begin, I rarely leave reviews. As a Wisconsin native, I’m a Culver’s supporter to the end. On a random vacation, I randomly stumbled upon Whit’s. It was utterly amazing. Simple design and menu. Hands down the best vanilla custard I have ever had. Walked in at closing time, apologetically, and was greeted by super awesome staff willing to hook it up on late notice. And I’m so thankful they did. Mind blown. A must stop location.
