Stopped in one morning for breakfast. Great food. Very friendly staff. Must stop in when in town. Very good prices for food for that area.

This place is so quaint, Excellent service and menu. We were here for breakfast. Go Early as the line is long and the place is very small. Excellent menu and fast and friendly service. Great place to visit and have a meal.

We recently had breakfast at The Windmill Restaurant while visiting Holland. While the food had some high points, the overall experience left us unsure if we’d return. The restaurant was very crowded, loud, and a bit confusing to navigate. The tables are packed in tightly, which made it hard to relax and enjoy the meal. That said, the staff was very friendly and worked hard to keep up with the busy morning rush. The daily specials are reasonably priced, and my wife really enjoyed her English muffin, saying it was fresh and perfectly toasted. My daughter ordered the Denver omelette with gluten-free toast and appreciated that there was no upcharge for gluten-free bread—a rare find. She said her eggs were cooked well and nicely seasoned. My own experience wasn’t as enjoyable. The blueberry pancakes were dense and stiff, not light and fluffy as I had hoped. My over-easy eggs were a bit greasy as well. In summary, while the food was generally good and the service kind, the overcrowded and noisy environment took away from the meal. It might be worth trying if you don’t mind a fast-paced diner atmosphere, but it wasn’t quite the relaxing breakfast we were hoping for

I’m happy that I read the reviews before we decided to go to this restaurant because there was a long line outside the restaurant like the review said there would be. Normally I would’ve left and gone somewhere else. But the reviews mentioned that the line goes fast and it did!! I ordered link sausages with my eggs along with onions on my hash browns! The star of the meal was the “homemade white toast”!!! Incredible!!! My wife got the egg salad sandwich on the homemade white bread. She wishes she would’ve had the bread toasted because it fell apart easily…The service was outstanding! Our waitress was Jess and she was great! It’s a busy place but if you come to Holland you have to eat breakfast here!!! Absolutely Awesome!!! I Highly Recommend!!!

After 3 attempts we finally ate here for breakfast. They always have a line, but it moves quicker than you would think. I ordered blueberry pancakes, with sausage and eggs. My husband had bacon and it was very crispy. The waitress was friendly, and the prices are very reasonable. We definitely left full.

We had a great breakfast here one morning. It is clearly a really popular restaurant since people line up outside as they wait. Sign on the outer window says “breakfast all day,” but don’t be misled - they are only open until 2 or 3pm.

Go early and expect to wait BUT it will be worth it!! It is a small place but the service and staff were wonderful. A few of us had the "best I've ever had" patty melts. Another had a "huge" breakfast of eggs, lots of hash browns, 4 slices of bacon and 2 slices of the best whole grain Texas toast. The last was a delicious cheese steak with onions & mushroom plus onion rings. Waitress was super friendly. Great meal!!!

Great breakfast! Small town, friendly atmosphere. Guests were greeted immediately. Had eggs, bacon and toast. Everything was cooked as ordered and very tasty. Server checked in often.

Great portions and excellent tasting food. I ordered a 3 egg omlet with hashbrowns and ham. It came with a side choice of a cinnamon roll or pancakes. I chose the cinnamon roll and my eyes popped out when it came. So big! It was a meal onto itself. Down to eath restaurant, no frills but clean and reasonable prices. We would return.

Been here multiple times in the past and the food was at least palatable. Nothing to write home about but never offensively bad.

Sadly, that has was not the case for my most recent visit.

The coffee was bad, but it was hot at least. I had the French Double Take and while the sausage links and bacon were fine, the eggs were overcooked, poorly scrambled, and not seasoned. The French toast was tough, bland, and even covering it in syrup didn't make it palatable.

My wife was satisfied with her pancakes and said they were good, but unfortunately I went hungry that morning and will not likely return.

Its sad because this is exactly the type of restaurant I WANT to visit frequently, but after this most recent visit I will likely be going elsewhere for breakfast.

Had a very bad experience here, waitresses were very rude. Water was backing up out of the men's bathroom. I would not recommend this restaurant.

The food is okay, the experience I was just a part of was not. You don't have the right to ask any paying guest to leave. I will never return after the scene you caused with your customers.
