“I try to stop by every time I'm in the area. I usually get the birria tacos dinner and recently tried the enchiladas. The food is always tasty and amazing, it fulfills my cravings every time. The owners are very nice and pleasant people!“

“The mid michigan community is fortunate to have several choices for excellent, authentic, family owned taquerias and food trucks. Some old time favorites unfortunately are no longer around, especially Torres Taco House on Grand River on the North Side..And my all time favorite, Alvarado's, on Logan St. (MLK), on the South side. Hela's Kitchen sits right in the middle of those two Lansing Legends as far as Texas inspired flavor is concerned. The chicken taco plate and the shredded beef wet burrito are right up there with the best dinners available in town. As far as the mild salsa goes, let's just say they need to tweak it. Happy to have them on the West Side joining five other local taquerias in the neighborhood. Please stop in and support this family run business!“

“We love Piazzano's for their amazing turkey dinner on Wednesdays, it really tastes homemade! We've been there several times but today we sat near the kitchen and every dish that came out looked incredible! We've also done business with the new owners and they have a fantastic work ethic and dedication to their business. We highly recommend Piazzano's on every level.“

“Came in bc I was in the area on a job and normally get chipotle closer to home. Got a burrito and my boss got two tacos. The taste of the food was a lot better in my opinion than the chipotle I frequent. Servings are a bit smaller than chipotle, but at least there’s not cartilage in their chicken like I often get with chipotle. Prices are reasonable. Wish I had Pancheros closer to home! Owner (I believe) was there cleaning keeping the place nice“

“I have had many good experiences with this restaurant since the mid 80's. The food has always been top notch and Delicious every time I have visited. The staff is super nice and very helpful to describe a few dishes that I had questions about because I like to try new things. I find the green salsa verde extremely delicious with just the right amount of kick. I've never walked out disappointed.
They have very reasonable prices and I highly recommend that you try it out for yourself because tasting it for yourself is the only way to discover the wonderful cuisine served here.
I would say that it's usually $10-$20 per person maybe more if you're dining in and have a few drinks (They do serve alcohol as well)

“I've been to alot of Qdobas, local and out of state. This MSU campus location is the best overall experience I have encountered. The management, the staff were real and not like robots. The food prep and portion makes it delicious.The chicken even is cut in bigger chunks. One local franchise cuts it so small it looks like it comes out of a Tyson can and grilled. Then they shake the spoon and voila, you have a baby portion on your $8 quesadilla. It's unfortunate that individual franchise owners will trim their portions in the name of profit. I will continue to patronize the East Grand River location and recommend to my friends and Co workers.“

“I wanted to write a review about El Azteco West but their page no longer appears in my search. The manager, Bobby, demonstrates unprecedented unprofessionalism and incompetence. My boyfriend was a cook at the Westside location but quit due to egregious health code violations. They let a burrito sit out on the counter for almost two hours, then microwaved it and served it to a customer. There's severe mice infestation. They also stored the tiolet brush on the same shelf as the clean dishes. Things got ridiculous after my boyfriend quit and called the health department. Bobby withheld his paycheck from him because she wanted to confront him about calling the health department. She called him evil for notifying the health department, instead of handling the complaints internally. Astoundingly, she denied that letting for sit out for almost two hours and then serving it to a customer constituted a health code violations. When my boyfriend finally picked up his check, someone had written "turd" on it. They also only paid him minimum wage, far less than the other cooks. The manager, Bobby, threatened to call the police on me for slander for telling people about the mice infestation and for writing truthful negative reviews. Bobby was so pathetic, she threatened to call our landlord. I discourage everyone from eating at this restaurant and working there. I've never experienced such a dirty, poorly run restaurant with managers who disregard food safety and professionalism.“
