The staff was very nice and helpful. However, I don't think they were given the tools to succeed. They had no hostess, ketchup was running out, and they were out of cocktail sauce after we already ordered the fried shrimp. It seems like she wasn't told they were out. I do not blame the wait staff. The amount of tempura batter on the shrimp was so much. It was like a corndog.
Went there for late lunch. Arrived about 12:50 p.m. Most of the lunch crowd was gone. Took about 50 minutes for a burger and a sandwich to come. Had to ask for a coffee refill. Not great service. Food was good.
We sat outside and enjoyed a great meal and a fair price. A got a hamburger that they called the Milwaukee Road that was topped cheese curds as well as a cheddar slice and onion lettuce and tomato. The French fries were good and hot and crispy. My wife had the Superior whitefish dinner with a baked potato and vegetables. The fish was excellent and the vegetables were grilled instead of microwaved like so many other restaurants do.
