Every time we come to Houghton to visit my son in college we have to go to the Observatory. Their craft cocktails are fantastic. Andrea makes the best cocktails I’ve ever had. The food was delicious Trevor the kitchen manager came out personally to talk to us, his dishes are amazing. You cannot go wrong eating and drinking here. The service is top-notch. The atmosphere is amazing. I can’t wait to come back..
I was surprised that this Hampton inn had a restaurant on the 7th floor. We went up for a light dinner. Portions are large! The wagyu chili was well, seasoned and delicious. I also had the Greek salad which was perfect. My wife's meal was delicious and we both had leftovers. If you're staying at the motel, this is definitely worth the trip up to the 7th floor. The views at this time of year are a little bleak but still nice. In the summer. I'm sure it's going...
Andrea, Tamara, Elle, Teresa, Josh, Trevor, all work very hard to cultivate a memorable location with excellent service, food, conversation, and atmosphere. Not a local expert but of the hundreds of bars I’ve been to all over the world this is one of the best. Without a doubt a must for any foodie. The menu is nearly 100% made in house and really can’t be beat. Probably the most excellent staff of any place I’ve ever been.
