We travel to this area most summers and have been wanting to stop in for awhile. Their food looks great on Facebook so we dropped by for dinner. We got fried mushrooms, cheese curds, Italian fries, couple of beers, Cuban sandwich. Everything was good! The service was great. Friendly folks. .50 pool table too!

Honestly, we were kind of nervous going in because it looks kinda questionable on whether or not it was an actual restaurant on the outside. But the inside is nice. Food was good. The bartender was the cook and she was the only one working and she did a great job keeping up. If we were locals we'd definitely be back.

The wings and pizza were great! This is obviously a local bar, so the menu is limited and, at times, it can be busy. However, the food is solid and the beer selection is decent.

Although we were just passing through and this bar was located in a ghost town (which made the stop even more interesting), we had a great time. The bar tender girl from Minnesota was great. She was nice, polite, and super chill.

Definitely one of the better places to eat in the Houghton area. The food was excellent — easily one of the best meals I’ve had while visiting. Our server, Molly, was super friendly and made sure everything came out quickly and just right. The prices were very reasonable too, which was a pleasant surprise. I’d absolutely stop here again if I’m ever back in the area. Highly recommend!

great place for dinner, laughs, friendly staff and lots of fun!!

Great place. On the Canal Road at Liminga Road. Nice bar. Good selection of beer on tap. Not extensive but maybe four good craft beer and two standard (Yeungling and other). The bottle/can selection did look extensive, but I'm inclined to drink the tap beer. The liquor stock looked good. The food was really good. Pizza. Brisket sandwich. Etc. David does a great job in the kitchen. Sarah pulls it all together at the bar. Entertainment on occasion. Pool table. A great spot for mixing with the locals. The bar is 2 miles north of the snowmobile trail at Cole's Creek Road. Easy to get to and back.

Stopped in after driving past it for years, and was pleasantly surprised! Excellent food, clean, great drinks, and a friendly atmosphere. The new bartender, Katie, is a gem. Great work! Will absolutely be coming back.

Music can be a bit loud here at times, but the food is good, and it's a decently busy bar considering the location.

My main complaint is that the wing Thursdays aren't as much of a deal anymore, but if you're a fan of dry rub, they are worth having.
