This was the worst dining out food we have ever ordered and we will never eat here again!We left most of the food on our plates. The baked whitefish was undercooked, the brussel sprouts and green beans were covered and nearly floating in an oil or grease. Really awful!
I wish we could share the photos we took of the food…you can see the greasy oily shine on the vegetables and whitefish…awful!!!

Beautiful view sitting in the dinning area. A little expensive but worth the experience. I got the RB2 with dbl meat and dbl mushrooms with the chips for lunch. Carley was a phenomenal waitress and deserves a raise. She was patient with my order, polite, and was spot on with her timing for my order. 10/10 would come back

The Library Restaurant offers great views, but the service can be hit or miss. It’s often understaffed, so you might find yourself waiting longer than expected. The food is good, though! Since it's a 'library' theme, it's a nice idea to grab a book and enjoy the scenery while you wait.

This place is great. The atmosphere is relaxed with a great view of the canal. The staff was attentive and friendly and after an appetizer, we ordered the chocolate cake. The chocolate cake is AMAZING!! if you have a post dinner sweet tooth than this is the place to hit. High quality service by Lily and Miranda and top notch food. You can’t go wrong at the Library!

The in-house brewery is top notch, I absolutely recommend it to anyone who appreciates high quality craft beer. The staff was exceptional, it's rare these days to have such excellent service. The burger was easily in my top 5 burgers ever, and I search all over the continent for the best burgers. If you ever end up anywhere near Houghton, MI, The Library is a Must Visit.

I'm not the one to leave bad reviews, but I'm still just lost for words lmao.. ordered the fish and chips last night which I was pretty excited to try for the first time but when it came out I was in disbelief.. three teenie tiny pieces of fish legitimately smaller than fish sticks. Was pretty depressing because I love the library but this right here was criminal

Their official website has an official menu that has way cheaper prices. Ordered carryout and had price shock. 40 to 60% more! No offer to adjust. No indication of intention to pull 5 yr old menu. False advertising. Otherwise nice service and atmosphere.

Not good. Walked in and sign said wait to be seated. There’s a bar there. And normally the wait to be seated stuff is for people waiting for a table with food service. We were just looking to have a drink before moving on. Waited 20 mi utes- no one helped us. A person said “be right with you” initially, but 20 minutes later, we left disappointed. Looked like a cool place. But it was not.
