The food is ok. There was only one server who seemed a bit overwhelmed. The problem is the atmosphere. A family came in and proceeded to play videos on their phone at full volume. Not everyone wants to hear that and I believe it is up to the server to politely address the situation. People are extremely defensive and hostile today. If I owned a business there would be a sign stating to end phone calls and turn off speakers, especially in a restaurant.
I've ate here numerous times, service is great, food is great, will continue to return.
So update - 3 years after leaving the original, this place is still amazing!! Hands down best Mexican spot in Imlay City and i would legitimately cry if it closed. So you ask whats good, haven't had a bad meal yet. Chicken Fajitas are always a solid, then the Jalisco Platter with chicken. Then I always add on some american style carnitas soft tacos, can’t go wrong...

The building looks like an old motel and was a little intimidating, especially since we were the only customers when we arrived. But the service was good, the staff was friendly, and the food was decent. If you can get past the first impression, it’s worth a visit.
