“First I would like to say the food was freshly prepared in front of us & we had a bit of a wait, but for fresh food I will not complain about waiting!This was my first time here, the food looks nothing like the pictures, however it was very tasty, I was pleasantly surprised!The chicken is juicy, possibly the juiciest chicken I’ve had considering all of the chicken places on every corner & the asked if I wanted lemon pepper in my chicken too(yesss!!) the original sauce really brings out the Cajun flavors in the chicken and they compliment each other perfectly.The honey biscuits were sitting under the lamp for a while and not dripping in butter like I expected, I would probably ask for extra drizzle next time, but still had a nice crust and fluffy inside.The place is a bit run down, not organized & seemingly unclean, but it’s a gas station too, and that didn’t bother me much since I’ve lived in the area forever. I will definitely return!“

“My favorite go to spot. I come here 3 times a week. They hand batter the chicken season well. I will no longer ever go to captain jays or any other chicken spot! This is the spot to be, try their Curley fries with ranch and Nashville seasoning thank me later!“

“Almost a 5. Staff was friendly, but they overcooked the chicken a little bit. We kept checking to see if was ready, but they kept cooking it and sure enough it was little over cooked, a little dry. It wasn't horrible. So I'm giving it a try again and will see if it doesn't come out so dry the next time around. It's better than the one by 275 at Shell gas station and much cleaner. I'll never go back to the one by Shell gas on Eureka and 275.Edited: I went again and this time the shrimp was overcooked. The tenders were excellent, tender and juicy. But I like shrimp and was sorely disappointed with the shrimp it was dark and they didn't have any honey butter sauce. The best one I've been to was in Hillsdale Michigan, which was my first taste of the place. So all other locations now compare to that one, and unfortunately this one at Star liquor had subpar shrimp. I reduce my rating to a 3.5.“

“I walked in and had a soujuk sub, chicken sub, and quesadilla. The food was really good and was made fresh, I was greeted at the door with smiles, the place was very clean and best of all the price of all of this was only 25 dollars. I was very amazed it was this good of a price because we don’t see that anymore nowadays. I loved the food and the people were great, I will Definitely be a returning customer and recommend everyone to try it if they need a lunch or a late night dinner. I was going to get the Three Chicken Strips, Mac & Cheese and Cole Slaw (?) meal. This meal is awesome with the Honey Mustard Dipping Sauce. It is amazing. The guys were really busy (new year's eve), kept up with all the orders and our order was out right on time. They did it all with a great attitude. Great pizza, would order again.“
