I’m from Detroit which has a large Mexican population, so I wasn’t expecting to be impressed with a small town restaurant, but I was pleasantly surprised! The food is tasty and the service is always good. Still not what I’m used to back home but definitely extremely solid for a small town Mexican restaurant, and it is authentic.
Baby Hay Caramba was cold but really tasty. They didn't have Arroz Con Pollo but they did have something similar and it was delicious. The burrito was not very hot when it came out. Some spots were fairly warm and others not so much. If the service wasn't so good and the room temperature burrito didn't taste so damn good it would've gotten less of a rating. That being said if the food was hot and was prepared as ordered it would've gotten a better review....
I picked this restaurant because it looked so good and was literally on our way home. Firstly I watch on occasion eating videos on YouTube . Before I walked in I had no idea they had a challenge or that a personal favorite from YouTube had once been there. Just a fun coincidence.
