It's all right, it's a Popeyes. I like the chicken at KFC better. If you don't get the spicy chicken it isn't seasoned with anything. My tenders were cooked really nicely, but they just tasted like chicken and breading. There's no 11 herbs and spices, there wasn't an herb or spice that I really noticed. My 2nd time eating at a Popeyes restaurant. I ordered a classic chicken sandwich with fries and coleslaw. I liked the coating on the fries. The coleslaw was different. It was good, but not a creamy white based recipe like we make at home. I wasn't to sure about the pickles on my sandwich, but I still ate them. The chicken was moist and not overly fried & the coating was minimal & not thick. Overall, my lunch was just enough to fill me up.
We were out in the area because of a death in the family. We stopped by Popeye's Chicken and we were reminded at least four times that they close in an hour. Our french fries were literally given to us in the bottom of a bag. While we were driving out there was a delivery truck blocking our exit.
