I got mixed reviews from friends, mostly about the food. But I really enjoyed this place, the staff & owner very friendly. I had the perch tacos w Mac n cheese, I thought both were vry good
Island Grill is like walking into a Caribbean tiki bar. People are friendly the food is good, music was great.
We went on a Sunday, they had a live band that sounded great. The wife and I were there with about 15 other people. We started off by ordering a couple appetizers. She got the coconut shrimp, I got the burnt ends. She liked the coconut shrimp said they were pretty good. The burnt ends were just ok, they were tender and covered in bbq sauce. They were ok but...

It’s a great place to stop, but I wasn’t impressed that a teenage driver of a golf cart allowed a group who clearly came after us to get into the golf cart to the restaurant. I understand that not everybody has class and will cut ahead, even when they’re younger and very capable than some of the people in our group. Fortunately, a golf cart came not long after since we have someone disabled in our group.
