“Great food. Great atmosphere. The kind of place where everyone knows each other and one of the locals may strike up a conversation with you. No tofu here. Blossom uses the "batter" (chickpea or mung bean) method for whipping up delicious scrambles or omelets. Some of which goes into the killer breakfast burrito that my wife ordered. If you are a vegan in West Michigan, you know how hard it is to come by a restaurant with sweet options for breakfast. Well, Blossom's has pancakes, muffins, and even (my selection when we visited) French toast! If you are using this website and planning a road trip to Nordhouse Dunes, Manistee, Ludington, Traverse City, Cadillac - shoot, anywhere within 100 miles, you must check out this vegan* oasis. Be sure to set your alarm though, Blossom's is only open from 7am to 11am during the week and until 1pm on weekends. *ok, not entirely vegan. At some point in the last few years this country diner dropped all meat and dairy products. The owner told us she went vegan four years ago and I bet she offers fresh eggs for scrambles and omelets as a way of not entirely alienating the established, rural clientele. Just my theory.“
