Ben's Place Reviews
Bea treated us like her favorite family members, when in reality we were complete strangers. (Strangers only lasted for 1 minute!) The restaurant was closed, but Bea happened to be unlocking the door as we arrived. She asked us if we were hungry. When we replied 'Yes', she insisted we come in and she'd heat us up a meal in 5-10 mins. Things like this ONLY happen in small towns! The food was yummy, the conversation friendly, and the memories will last a lifetime! Thank you...read full review
Stopped in on Labor Day and walked in just as they were closing. They graciously offered to turn the grills back on, saying we'd have a hard time finding food open on Labor Day. Every staff member was incredibly friendly and we ended up staying and chatting for nearly 2 hours after they closed!! Highly recommend if you're looking for good food and quick friends!
Stopped here for lunch and it was delicious. My hash browns were perfect and my bacon was extra crispy as I requested. Super friendly and good service.I would recommend this place. If you're from the lower peninsula bring Hot BBQ better made chips and the owner will love you forever.
