Mat does a great job cooking up tasty barbecue and innovative side dishes. The brisket is flavorful and tender, as is the pulled pork. His specialty baked potato are worth a try. Mat's is the place if you want a great sandwich, salad or bake potatoes. The Texas potato with BarBque Beef is great. Service is fast and very friendly. A great place to go for lunch. Mat's Café has excellent food, and the menu is very creative! You get huge portions as well. Great BBQ joint!

Saw a post for a family meal deal on FB and trying to support small businesses through this pandemic, I thought let's give this place a try. I ordered the BBQ Deal, which included 2 different pulled pork options, ribs, chicken wings, beans, Mac n cheese, coleslaw and some jalapeño corn bread muffins. Plenty of food to go around for us. I consider myself a bit of a pulled pork connoisseur and Mat's is truly at the top of my list of best BBQ. When I see pulled pork BBQ offered at an eatablishment, I order it to see how good, or bad, it is. I do this even when traveling out of state. Mat's is hands-down some of the best BBQ I've ever eaten - even compared to BBQ from down south. Also, I greatly enjoy the atmosphere at the cafe. Very relaxing for a nice lunch. The sides served are great, too. So good!!
