My husband and I came for lunch. The location was very clean and love the decor. Our server was great and very patient with us since we had never been there before. We ordered the Rhode Island Calamari for our appetizer. I did like the peppers it was served with. Gave it the something it was missing. Then Salmon burgers with fries as our main. Let me tell you what...that salmon burger was amazing! I could only eat half of it. But when I ate the rest for dinner that night I ate...

We came in on Father’s Day and Kristy gave us the best service! Her recommendations were perfect! Firecracker shrimp, ribs/wings and the Parmesan crusted walleye were outstanding! Their online menu includes picture links and the wine selection can be sorted by country etc. We love supporting local small businesses and hope others will vote with their pocket book at Oak + Iron in Jackson Michigan!

A great overall experience. Definitely had the best server, Brad. His recommendations for food choices were spot on and his attention to service was the best (always with a smile). Highly recommend the restaurant, and don’t forget to ask for Brad.
