Almost gave a 3 star but felt it didn't really warrant that since I merely had just 1 complaint. I ordered what the menu called "pretzels" and was given boat shaped bread with excessive amounts of garlic. To the point of only eating 1/2 of 1. I then finished my drink leaving entire basket/plate of the rest at table. The waitress was wonderful wish could remember her name. She was just a short little thing but very friendly, courteous, and pretty fast considering the bar was full shortly after we arrived. I would recommend this place but I would not recommend their "pretzels".

It was very expensive for bar food. For 2 adults and a small child our bill was $68.00 then add on a 20% tip! We didnt even have alcohol just soft drinks. The worst part was that the cup of sour cream had mold on it! We wont be back!

My wife’s burger was good and (what I assume was) the side of nacho cheese is really good.My corned beef on the other hand was chopped into tiny pieces, dry, and way over salted. Also the pretzels were ruined with just an obscene amount of garlic salt. The “cheese” that they come with is nasty.

Super awesome spot, great music playlist, waitress/bartender was kind and courteous, and the food was better than described. The atmosphere was fantastic for a Friday afternoon, would recommend to anyone in the Jackson area, or people passing through.

Server had a bad attitude, food was extremely disappointing, and their Long Island Iced Teas are $16

Service was great but very limited menu and very small adult beverage menu. Food was very greasy, and it was half a sandwich, soup was flavorless also. I'll only go back if I get asked to meet a friend there, so not by choice

My mom and I live on opposite sides of the state so we met in Jackson to hang out. This restaurant was a perfect place to get some food and catch up. It was quiet and cozy, with a few tables and a bar. I was surprised that the cooking happens right out in the open, but at least you can see exactly what's happening. I don't eat flour or sugar so I was excited to get a stuffed baked potato for lunch, and I especially liked that I could customize it by getting the buffalo chicken and the veggies. My mom seemed to enjoy her food but I didn't ask her for details. And our server was fantastic!

The Oak Tree is a classic staple of the Jackson restaurant scene and there food is just as delicious as ever and affordable too. Good portions. Friendly customer service that made this feel like your home town place to eat a meal and catch up with family and friends. The atmosphere is very warm and even though it isn't huge it's comfy and one of my favorite stops in Town.

If charged prices matched their own websites menu prices it would be 6 stars. You shouldn't post inaccurate menu prices online. Total was about $5 more than posted menu prices. What should have been about $23 was almost $28.

Older bar/restaurant that could use some updating. Food and service are among the best in town. Never hesitate to go there, never been disappointed!

The food, the service, and the drinks make this a must stop for Jackson. Can't find a place to get an actual medium burger? Look no further, been here several times, I get a burger EVERY time, because it is cooked perfectly medium every single time. Very unassuming outside curb appeal, literally drove past it on Oak St. Again, amazing service and food.
