This place is quickly going down the drain. Look and read all the bad reviews on Texas Roadhouse in Jackson, Michigan. I also had a very unpleasant visit the last time we ate here. Manager was very harsh and bull headed. Steak was burnt and they refused to remake out dinner. I will not eat at this Jackson restaurant again. Please be aware that the food and service has declined termindesly. It's also way to loud in this restaurant and not good for a first date or to talk with each other for that matter.

My first time eating at a Texas Roadhouse restaurant. I drove to the Jackson, Michigan restaurant from Battle Creek to meet relatives who drove from Marshall, Lansing, and Portage, Michigan. We were there early and around 4'clock. They were NOT busy yet at all. There were many vacant booths. We were told to go sit at the bar and wait for the last person of our party to arrive before we could be seated. The bar was full so a couple of us sat at a booth across from the bar. The manager who was tending bar said we had to move because they had to keep the booths open to seat other people. The place was dead and yet she rudely said we had to get up and move. When I expressed how rude that was to her and how this was my first time at a Texas Roadhouse and would be my last she said she didn't care and you have to move. My relatives from Lansing said they've never been told they couldn't be seated while waiting for someone else in their party to arrive at the Texas Roadhouse in Lansing and were shocked by the treatment we were receiving. When the seventh person arrived, we were seated at a booth instead of a larger open booth across from the bar and the gave us a tiny fold out chair they got from the basement that was barely big enough for an adult and placed it at the end of the table making my 55 year old cousin sit basically in the aisle way where people walk. Mind you, there were still plenty of large open booths all through the center of this restaurant and across from the bar. This very rude so called manager was more interested in pushing her weight around then making a good first impression and treating her customers with the dignity and respect that we deserved. Our age range was from 55-75. Shame on you! And yes. I will not ever come back!

Our waitress was outstanding. The experience was wonderful. It was a great way to celebrate my birthday with my wife and grandson. I highly recommend Texas Roadhouse for any occasion. We will return another day.

So we stopped in for a bit to eat and found ourselves having one of the best experiences here at the Texas Road House in Jackson, MI. not to often can a review be more about the server than the food but here I am writing this review. The food was outstanding but actually sat in the shadows of our server. Brevan is absolutely amazing. Spot on attitude, point of service, attentiveness, friendly, and the overall care that we recieved was the best experience, and perfect. If you are lucky enough to get Brevan as your server feel very blessed because the service you recieve will be beyond expectations. Thank You Brevan

FOOD: EXCELLENT TASTING, 'IF' YOU ENJOY SCREAMING YOUR COVERSATIONS - MUSIC WAS SOOO LOUD YOU HAD TO YELL AT EACH OTHER!! AWEFUL! Even though our orders couldn't have been more messed up- the Mgr gave us FREE bloomin onion since we waited patiently (15mins) for someone to wait on us. NO JOKE. Then they gave us things we never ordered: we ate it because we were hungry. VERY POOR SERVICE! I'm being very KIND in my ratings. As this truely was a bad, bad experience and LEFT WITH POUNDING HEADACHES from THE NOISE!!!!

Update: Visited again, nothing has changed, except for being made to sit at the end of my table, on a cheap rickety chair that was insanely uncomfortable. I’ve accepted that their party accommodations are mediocre but not being able to sit in a decent chair is ridiculous.:Love going here but them not being able to seat a party of more than 6 people is an absolute downer. They refuse to push tables together to make for big parties. Other than that it’s great.

My family decided that we would rat here for Easter.wr did it on Saturday to make it easier fir us all to meet up. It was the WORST EXPERIENCE I EVER HAD at a restaurant. There was 7 of us. The FOOD WASN'T COOKED RIGHT. we sent most of it back. Still wasn't right. 2 of us ended up with food poisoning. THE WAITRESS ignored me the hike time. Only talked to one person except while taking are initial order. Then I was OVER CHARGED FOR MY MEAL. asked for s manager to contact me and they haven't yet and its not 4 days later. I WOULD STARVE RATHER THAN EVER EAT THERE AGAIN.
