This is the best restaurant in the Kalamazoo area. Best service, amazing food, best dessert. Get the apple toffee cake. The martinis are a steal of a deal and made well. Every where else just disappoints us now.

Best restaurant in the Kalamazoo area! Executive chef is amazingly talented, best food I've had in years. Beautiful atmosphere. Staff was attentive, experienced, and very professional. Cowboy steak was so tender and full of flavor, like we've never had before. Seafood was perfectly prepared and delicious. Salads, to die for. Highly recommend!

My wife and I were given a gift card to Bold. We went on Friday evening with reservations made the week prior. The martini's were amazing. My wife had the seafood trio and has not stopped talking about how much she enjoyed it. I had pork chops and they were so good. The staff was excellent, from the time I called for the reservation to the time we left, every employee was a pleasure to interact with. We will definitely be going back again soon.

Food was not great . Wasabi strak tacos was not flavorless. Wasabi was not noticeable. The meat balls were mushy. The banana desert didn't taste like banana. More of a fake flavor. The drink the perfect man was gross . The server was outstanding and friendly. Chef was extremely polite. Over all I would say 6 out of 10

We did see that they're charging a small % for credit card use, which kind of raises an eyebrow when you're expecting to spend $50-100 per person but I def understand as restaurants are all still feeling the impacts post-pandemic. We called ahead and made reservations, and the front desk folks let us know our table was nearly ready so we had a short wait before we got seated (we were about 15 min early). Our waitress was very engaging, and we were seated next to a large table that did get a little loud but honestly, they were clearly excited and happy to be there so nothing that prevented us from being able to hear our own conversation.We ordered multiple small plates, cocktails, and desserts and will definitely be back again to try some of their bigger plates! Literally no complaints about anything we ate :) definitely recommend the risotto fritters though... I got full and took home leftovers, and they were devoured the next day and were still really good!!Also appreciated that the chef made his rounds and checked in on tables, without being overbearing or hovering or anything like that. It was clear that he clearly cares about the food and your experience, and that alone makes me want to come back :)

Everyone was very rude. We had the unfortunate experience of meeting the executive chief. A very rude individual. If you don't want people to sit at your bar. Don't have a bar. We had high hopes for the place but cancelled our plans for a second trip with friends after the rude experiences with staff.
