This place is a gem! And from the outside you may not even realize how great it is inside. There has been some management and ownership changes over the past couple of years, and they recently rebranded. But the food is stellar, the family tries to eat there at least once a month!
Eat here, and eat here often. Bulgogi Box is a Kalamazoo gem in the international cuisine scene. Host/ nephew of the restaurant owner was super kind and on-spot with his personal recommendations. Try the Tteokobokki to start - spicy but not super spicy. The Beef Bulgogi was caramelized goodness on a sizzle plate. And be sure to get some noodles too - recommend the udon like one with beef. And don't shy away from the tea they offer - a barely tea, that is super refreshing...
Great, satisfying bibimbap with laid-back and attentive service. Sampled some lovely ribs for their new takeout box. They plan to have delicious food to grab and go, which is very convenient!
