A great little spot in the heart of downtown K’zoo serving up delectable Middle Eastern food—my go-to for lunch and sometimes dinner. The shawarma wraps are super-delicious. I usually get my food to-go, but there is a small seating area that would do the trick when in a pinch.

My very first experience eating Egyptian food was by far and most the absolutely BEST international food I've tasted! I had the Alexandria's fish combo/served with rice, along with spinach somasas with a cream cheese dipping sauce and both strawberry and mint lemonade juices.... ALL above were excellent 👌! Sadly, I lived miles away out of state though whenever I go back to Kalamazoo, Michigan to visit again.... Cairo's kitchen will 120% will be my first place to stop to get grub a hub hub!

Everything is delicious. I went with my friends, and we loved the mango drink they have and the dishes in general; everything tasted delicious. The new girl who started today treated us very kindly and was very patient when taking our orders. If you're in Kalamazoo, you can't miss it!

I’ve been eating cairos kitchens food since before they had an actual restaurant building when they were just at the kalamazoo farmers market! I am in love with the falafel wrap and that they have vegan options! 🥰

Fantastic food!! Cairo’s Kitchen has a variety of delicious foods! My family’s favorites are: Cauliflower Bites, Koshari, and Falafal with an egg inside. The spices used make every meal special and delicious. Their hours fit with our busy lives, food is delicious, location is central downtown, and employees are friendly. What more can you ask for. ❤️

With the high reviews I thought it might be more of a formal place. It's order at the counter. The food is excellent. Unfortunately the time we stopped here the only drink option was a can of regular Coke. I got a Shawarma Wrap with fries which was very good, my wife got one of the meals which with the lettuce and rice looked great. I'll get that next time I'm in the area.
