Authentic! My Chinese wife and I have been searching for the best Chinese restaurant in southwest Michigan for more than three years. We just heard about this place yesterday and immediately went. Holy cow! We found it. After many disappointing experiences elsewhere we discovered that authentic Chinese is actually available here in our corner of the state. Better than anything else we found, even in Grand Rapids. And reasonably priced with great service. We enjoyed the green beans, fish and duck. My wife was thrilled to finally find something authentic outside of Chicago. We’ll definitely be back.

We went to Sichuan Cuisine and had a fantastic dinner. We got the spicy dumplings, stir-fried shredded potatoes, dan dan noodles, lazi chicken, and stewed duck with tofu. Everything was beautifully seasoned and sat light on the stomach. Do yourself a favor and try the lazi chicken. It's crunchy and so good when you crunch into a chili (it's got a good spice level). I love those potatoes and the duck was to die for. My husband thought the dan dan noodles were the best part of the meal. The food came really quick and the service was great. I can’t wait to go again and next time I’ll take pictures to add to the review! If you enjoy rich, spicy Sichuan food, try this place out!

We purchased a $40 to go last night....It was terrible... 1) steamed Dumplins came all stuck together Could not separate without tearing apart 2)chicken with walnuts...it was tuff chicken in Mustard sauce... 3) sweet and sour shrimp...small shrimp loaded with coating..and a container of plumb sauce.. Very disappointed...
We have tried to contact them with no response..

Phenomenal food!!!! We had dumplings, yuxiang eggplant, gongbao shrimp. Authentic and spicy, staff very kind. New favourite Sichuan spot, HIDDEN GEM. ♥️

I had to update my review — which remains steadfastly that this is the best international restaurant in the whole Kalamazoo area — to include my 9-year-old’s handwritten review below (and a photo of the fantastic Sichuan poached pork!). We adore this restaurant and urge anyone looking for authentic Chinese food to choose Sichuan Cuisine every time! They are so friendly, the food is delicious, and they have been such a positive pet of this community and our lives since we moved here from NYC. Come and get it, Kalamazoo!
Kid-friendliness: The manager is so sweet to our kids — she remembers their names and is always so welcoming. They feel quite at home here!
