. I didn't choose this place. Four of us took a break from work and met another colleague at the restaurant. It's pretty basic. The buffet items are extremely limited. The best item was the green beans and even they were dried out and overcooked. By myself, I wouldn't go here.

This isn't the fanciest restaurant, but you will get incredible food. We love their totally reasonably priced lunch buffet and truly enjoy ordering off of the mysterious and DELICIOUS Szechuan menu. I can't vouch for their more typical Chinese restaurant type dishes (because that's not what we are there for), but I recommend you bring your sense of adventure and ask for the red menu. the most authentic chinese food in kalamazoo! my parents and I have been hankering for some tasty chinese options, and Chuancai Fang satisfied that craving. they have a wonderful mix of spicy and non spicy options. the prices are super reasonable, and it’s great because there are soo many dishes to try!
