Food was great. Server appeared very overwhelmed. Our meals came before any drink other than water. It was one cosmo, and tiny port glass of sprite. Zero drinks refilled during dinner. Kinda took forever for server to come back at the end of the meal. I asked for a polenta to go, and she said it would be right up. After 20-25 minutes of waiting, I went to the front to inquire. It had been sitting there, and pretty sure for some time. Our server was very nice, very sweet. She seemed really overwhelmed, or maybe really new to serving? We were out in about 90 minutes, but it was the really long waits after eating that dragged the meal out. I bet for our 7:00 reservation we ate by 740? Then waited until 8:00 or so to put the polenta in, and get the boxes and bill. We didn't leave until 8:30. My boys are quite small, and had ordered lasagna roll ups... which they said were very good, but were small... we ended up getting pizza on the way home. On the flip side, the salmon (two) were quite large servings. I know staffing is hard to come by, so maybe they were shorthanded.

I was in Kalamazoo for a college reunion and a group of friends met up here for dinner. It is close to WMU and K College, as well as an easy walk from downtown. The atmosphere depends on the room you are in. We were in the back and it was pretty quiet. The main room seemed more like and Italian family dining room. Food was good and there was a good selection of drinks and wines. Definitely a good choice near downtown.

Date night last weekend both of our first time there, so glad I recommended it to my Italian boyfriend we were both impressed!! He had some kind of seafood pasta, I had two chicken breasts beautifully cooked over pasta with lemon caper cream sauce it was amazing. We also shared gnocchi with vodka sauce. The antipasto salad was delicious we substituted with Cesar dressing. I would recommend this restaurant to anybody looking for a nice small quiet romantic setting. We were there on a Sunday evening we were the last ones there which made it more of a romantic vibe like we have the whole restaurant to ourselves.

We had a group of 11 and this was our first visit. We lucked upon our discovery of Comensoli's because I was searching for a place that would take reservations. Not only did they accommodate our large group on a Friday evening, they impressed us with their food and service. Our server, Gwen, was fantastic. The food was phenomenal. We will absolutely be back!

I have eaten here many times and had great experiences each time. I'm not sure what happened this time. My noodles were chewy and cold, the marinara sauce was extremely salty. Our waitress checked on us once the entire dinning experience. It was extremely frustrating.
Food was excellent, our server was not very attentive to our needs. He was wearing shorts which in my opinion was not appropriate. He did a fair to average job at attending to our needs. We had to wait several times for him to come to our table to take orders. We had to ask for for things, he didn't bring anything to the table. The food was great and well worth the wait, we will go back next time we are in town.

In town for annual car show. From Chicago. Very good food. Staff and cooks worked as a great team. Will definitely come back. Marsala short rib, pork chop, mushroom fettuccine all excellent.

We had an amazing time celebrating my birthday. Very family friendly restaurant with AMAZING food. I had the beef short rib marsala and it was perfection. Our server was friendly and got everything out for our large group in a timely manner! We love coming here for family celebrations.

The food and service was excellent, Kegan even made my wife a chocolate martini which he never made before but it was executed perfectly for her liking! The meals were fresh and smelled and tasted amazing, the dessert was on point in freshness and quality as well, my only takeaway was the level of noise from the table next to ours, but it is a restaurant and it's going to be loud, other than that it gets a 5 star review from my wife and I, loved the the whole experience overall!

Things were fine until we were given the bill. There were 7 of us retired, and we had the Super Book coupon which they use to honor. There was nothing on line about not excepting the coupon when I had to reserve a table on line. We were there last year with our Corvette Club with maybe 30 people. We didn't use the card and understood that with being with a gruop not excepting it. Needless to say not happy and won't be back. To many Italian restaurant around we can pick from and they are as good.
