Attentive service, incredible food. It felt like the entire staff was working together to make sure every table was cared for. Comensoli's has a high level of hospitality that you can't find anywhere else in Kalamazoo.
Excellent goat cheese appetizer, Caesar salad, spaghetti and meatballs, chicken Parmesan, beef dinner and clam dish. Wonderful service even when the place was super busy. Delicious carrot cake and cheese cakes! Overall an outstanding night out. I would definitely recommend this restaurant.
One of our favorite places in Kalamazoo. We are always happy with service and food , highly recommended!
Nice little family owned restaurant. Ambience nice service great. Food portions large.very good value.
Excellent food and service. Celebrated my daughter's birthday there. Everything from the stuffed mushrooms to the carrot cake was delicious!!
Food was delicious and drinks were great as well. The service and our server were great. It was a great experience as always.
As usual the Chicken Picatta was outstanding! All four of us had great meals. Comensolis never disappoints.
We met with an old friend and his wife at a place half way between us. I had never heard of them before but found them online and they had good reviews. The place was almost full but we got a table right away. Our waitress was attentive without being around to much. The food selection was very good as was the food. Catching up with old friends, we were there for quite awhile and they stayed almost full the whole time. The only negative was there's limited parking.

The food last night was disappointing. I ordered spaghetti and it should have been labeled simply noodles. The mushrooms did not taste good as they tasted old. I will spare the conversation about being able to not find the entrance to the parking. An all around no repeat. This was the third time I had been there and it was probably the worst the food has ever been.

Two stars because the service was excellent. We tried this as we were thinking of having our wedding reception here.
Will be our first time and last time. They don’t make their pasta in house. Ordered the warm burrata which was ice cold in the middle. (Microwaved) The menu said heirloom tomatoes and they were barely ripened and pink. My partner had the lamb gnocchi which he said was “okay”.
When you’re in there, look around, it’s REALLY dirty and filled with dead plants. When I noticed this I wanted to leave but decided to look past it and stayed.
I lost $80 here, I would rather have bought high end pasta and made it at home for 1/3 of the cost.
Again, service was wonderful!
Such a hidden gem!

Mediocre and expensive. Downtown construction makes it almost impossible to get to if you don't take the highway.

Doesn't look like much from the outside, but the food is excellent, and the staff was friendly.
