Went in for a quick to-go ice cream and waited 10 minutes to be served and another 10 just to get my two scoops and another 5 to get the change. The restaurant was not busy. There was serving staff just standing around and it didn’t make sense that the cooks had to come from around the back to grab my ice cream scoops. Friendly staff, diner atmosphere. Hit dog and gyro platter were both burnt and dry. The ice cream was great though. My son frequently this place often for burgers, maybe I should have tried that!
We visited today for the first time. We loved the throwback vibe and the menu, but the real standout of the day was our server, Rylan. From the second we walked in, he was attentive to every detail. He was extremely knowledgeable about the menu items - even the ingredients in their homemade dressing. He hustled to keep every table in that place well serviced! He kept us informed on the status of our food, smiled when one of our party spilled a drink, and kept my husband’s coffee...
