“Great food and yes , good atmosphere,, i read the reviews and it brought me here, then crazy as it sounds I met the guy that happened to leave the review here, he was stopping by to get his breakfast on, may I say was really cute btw(the lady taking order thought we were together, maybe she knew something we didn't) hope to run into him again :)“

“My 9yo grandson wanted to try a new place to eat lunch today so he Googled restaurants nearby his home and thought this sounded good. So we went there and found his new favorite place to eat in the world! They had fresh cut fries which he raved about! Mimi, these are so good, way better than Mc Donald's! And those were his favorite fries , lol. He also got 1/4 BBQ chicken with spicy sauce, baked beans and garlic toast. I tried their Italian beef with peppers and onions. There was more food than we could eat and it was all delicious. The owner was very nice, helpful and personable but not intrusive at all. We required a to go container for my grandsons leftovers so he now had a full lunch for tomorrow as well. Food was very fresh and well made with large portions and the restaurant was clean and full of sports memorabilia. It's a delightful change from chain places and I highly recommend it.“

“We stopped for dinner tonight before a show at Miller and OMG we are so happy we did. Our oldest told us about the place so we decided to give it a try! The food is AMAZING! Authentic Chicago Dogs loaded with all the good stuff just like you get in Chicago but with a little more love. The owners one being the chef the other working the front of the house are super nice folks who explain what they have, how it’s made and you aren’t going to believe this but she makes her own cheese sauce for the Italian Beef sandwiches! She also made a Creamy Sausage Soup ((I dislike sausage) that made a sausage lover!! It was the best soup I ever ate! You need a fork to get all the yummy tomato and onions and neon green relish and the veggies were super fresh, and they had flavor! The hand cut homemade fries were delicious and one order fed two of us! The chef even brought out a sample of her Italian beef and the flavor and tenderness was delectable!! We will be back this I promise. You won’t find better food anywhere!! I might also add they have other meals as well. Eggplant, and a pasta dish and specials! We highly recommend Windycity Dawghouse“
