I've been searching for a place in the Portage area for Chinese since our favorite place closed down. I'd been to Hunan Gardens in the past and their food was always very bland to me. The last couple of times it was way better, so we decided to try the lunch special for carry out, which was reasonably priced. Excellent place for home-style Chinese food. Atmosphere is calm and inviting. Prices are great for what you get.

I recommend the Mu Shu Beef or Chicken! Super good. The egg drop soup and fried rice is also delicious. I love that it’s a family own business as well. The service has always been great!
