I called with an odd request. My daughter wanted a cupcake bar for her 13th birthday. I needed 4 dozen cupcakes in 3 flavors that were not frosted. Then, I needed two icings in icing bags so the kids could pick what they wanted and apply it. (The kids pick their cake flavor, then a frosting flavor, then there are all sorts of toppings to put on them. I provided the myriad of toppings.) Layla's was willing to make this happen. We had the cupcake bar today and the cupcakes were delicious. So moist and flavorful. The two icings were the perfect consistency and yummy. They don't have a storefront now, but I was met in the parking lot of the storefront they are eventually opening. The delivery was easy peasy and the cupcakes professionally packaged. I would recommend Layla's!

Excellent Service!!! First and foremost, they are an easy business to communicate with and listen to what you want for your order. This is a business that wants to succeed and I think what would help is a few things:
1. Social media and outreach! If LCP took their brand to Kalamazoo and Portage events it would help get the word out of their amazing product. This could be at the farmers market with samples of the flavor of the week or something similar.
2. It is a cute little store front, the logo is pink, the sign is fresh, I think a pink exterior paint would help brand this store on westnedge! It would make it really pop.
3. Buy from here. Commission cupcakes and cake pops. Hire their services and watch LCP thrive!
Parking: Parking lot needs to be recoated, but otherwise usable and fine!
Kid-friendliness: Kids love sweets and it is great!
