Lee's Famous Recipe Chicken

I always stop by Lee’s on my way up north. The Apple Avenue location is my favorite. The absolute best sweet tea anywhere! The chicken is always hot and fresh. I wish they would throw out the wedges when they get old and dry, they can ruin your meal. On this particular day I ordered a Gizzard meal.

Never again!!! The white girl who works here should be fired and never let back in to the restaurant business. I've never heard someone swear as much and as loud as she was!! Two different couples who are locals said they were never coming back either!!

Me and my friend use to come all the time. Over the past few months the portions have gotten super small for the price. In the pictures I posted you can see how small the chicken strips are and just a tiny bit of mashed potatoes. This was a 5 piece chicken strip meal and all 5 pieces of chicken were like this and so was my friend's. This is crazy considering they charge almost $15 for this meal!

Was the 2nd person in line of them opening today my daughter and I was going to grab lunch advertised $4.25 for 2 pieces of chicken, biscuit and one side ok cool adorable! They then tell me $15.85. I get to the window tell them the sign out there says $4.25 they argue with me about it being the wrong sign out and then go get a even more rude person to come to the window who also argues with me. So then we pull put of line and they had staff in the back by the drive thru in a hurry covering up the sign we love this food but will not return to this location considering on top if this being they just opened the food should have been fresh but the potato wedges were hardly warm and the breading was soggy, my chicken was still slimy on the inside. Lee's you know you can do better then this!!!! We will not be returning to this location on westnage in kalamazoo

Guy working the window was super nice, there was like 8 cars in the drive thru but took less than 10 mins to get my food. Very fast and everything was good and hot. Lees is a go to chicken place in kzoo.

I literally thought these people were homeless. They're dirty, loud, vulgar, with trash bags and a stroller sitting and yelling on the side of the building.
Turns out they are the employees. No one was in the resturant, no one to take orders, no one cooking or cleaning. They were all outside smoking, yelling and swearing to eachother. Gross.

Food usually is very good. This visit was not. Chicken wasn't good and the 2 sides of the potatoes were horrible tasted really old. My receipt had no Info on it like it ran iutnof ink and I spent almost 40.00 to feed the family and we ended up tossing it away

Both my daughters Mac n cheese and my green beans were barely filled on our orders. Seems kind of cheap.
