Love this place so much - its warm, relaxing vibe makes it the perfect new spot for locals to relax and have a great cocktail and the absolute BEST handcrafted sandwiches around - seriously stand-out great and memorable. Freshness and flavors are on point. They even have GF buns to sub if you need. And the sides (don’t miss the house-made potato salad) and apps are worth the trip alone. We stopped by here during western's homecoming and had a few beers, it is a very great place meet up with friends. It also has a very cool aesthetic which I appreciated a lot.
The food was fantastic! Best sandwich in Kalamazoo. We loved the decor and ambiance. Wonderful service as well. It’s so budget friendly, and you get so much for the price!

Locals Bar is a warm, relaxing spot with a great vibe, perfect for locals to relax and have a great cocktail. The handcrafted sandwiches are the absolute BEST around, stand-out great and memorable, with freshness and flavors on point. GF buns are available to sub if needed, and the sides (don't miss the house-made potato salad) and apps are worth the trip alone. The food is fantastic, with the best sandwich in Kalamazoo, and the sandwiches, chips, and dips are delicious. The beer is COLD, nice on a hot day. Prices are great, budget friendly, and very reasonable, and you get so much for the price. Service is stellar, friendly, efficient, genuinely warm, and amazing. The bar is clean, the drinks are great, and the food was awesome. The decor and ambiance are loved, with a very cool aesthetic and a vintage vibe, even though it's mostly all newly built. It feels like a spot that could be in a Chicago or Detroit neighborhood. Staff are all great, friendly, helpful, and 5 star. It is a very great place to meet up with friends and a welcoming, kind atmosphere. It's like home away from home here.
