It’s a hidden gem in Kalamazoo, as our first time being here this restaurant made a great impression the people were nice and kind we had to choice to pay upfront or after our meals which was assuring to have that option. Our food came within 7 minutes and we ate our delicious meals and went about our way.

Authentic Mexican! The gorditas are amazing, so are the tacos. The tamales were ok, I’d like to give them another try. A must stop if you’re near by.

My favorite place to get gorditas. Food is always fast and delicious. This place is not fancy- just a counter and some tables, but it is always busy. They offer a few staples, with a variety of meat fillings- even tongue. The green sauce is out of this world. I have had the chicken and the beans. My daughter likes some of the other fillings. Sometimes you can call ahead, but they don't answer the phone if the counter is busy. A great place for lunch or casual dinner. Wait is usually less than 15 minutes for take out.Vegetarian options: Beans, cheese

Terrible food and even worse people. The establishment is very dirty. They got the food out fast but my food was terrible. It was already cold which didn’t make any sense. Plus everyone in there was on edge very fast and rude people. You would be much much better off going to el ranchero right down the road. Better food and people.

They could improve on everything. I come in to get a simple meal and they got it out fast. It was already cold and I just opened it right away. Then on top of that. They were very rude inside also. You would be much better off getting tacos at el ranchero down the road. Much better atmosphere and the tacos are better. By far.

I would recommend double checking your receipt so you aren't over charged what the menu originally says. I asked for chips and salsa TWICE now and still have not gotten any chips and salsa. This place is a joke.

This place is a trip to Mexico. The authentic style tacos are fantastic. I love lots of cilantro and some good salsa, and they deliver that experience. Paired with a Mexican coke, you can’t go wrong eating here.Try the Burrito, loved by all my coworkers.
