One of my favorite things to do in cities is sample local coffee shops in cities I visit. Really excellent coffee…and their iced coffee/chicory specialty is delicious even though I am morally opposed to iced coffee.

Whether you’re an “out-of-towner” or a “for-lifer”, Meraki Coffee Co is one of those hidden treasures to seek out. Everything from the Witt’s Maple to the NOLA Cold Brew is hands down amazing. I unknowingly went after close but he was still in there and when I told him I was moving away and this would be my only chance to visit, he made me his NOLA cold brew and it was so delicious. I am not a huge fan of cold brew drinks but this was definitely one I would want to get again. His kindness in making me a drink after he was closed up was much appreciated. It was clear that he cares a lot about his craft! I'd recommend to anyone!!
