In a sea of mediocre pizza chains and fast food restaurants Pizzawala’s stands out among the rest. I came in the middle of the night, and Gary, the store manger and sole employee when I arrived greeted me with a level of sincerity and kindness all restaurant owners should aspire to achieve. I was in and out with a freshly made personal sized pizza in 10 minutes. With a variety of options, Pizzawala’s delivers great pizza with a hospitality that is unmatched.
I live in the apartments right off campus, so when my roommates and I saw this place open next to Munchie Mart, we had to check it out. Standard pizza chains get so boring, but Pizzawala’s is incredible. We ordered a Detroit-style crust with the Forge (Tikka Pizza), and the flavor blew us away—the cilantro and mint drizzle on top is insane! It’s open until midnight, which is perfect when you're grinding through midterms. Definitely adding this into our regular weekend...
honestly a lifesaver for late night studying lol. right by wmu and way better than standard franchise pizza. the butter chicken pizza (i think it's called velvet makhani?) is unbelievable. super creamy and actually has some spice to it. got delivery and it came fast and hot.
