It's a tiny hole in the wall spot, but the food is really good. There are many menu items. The waiter was gruff and unfriendly. I hope he was just having a bad day and that I wasn't seeing his typical temperament.
The food here was nice and I believe authentic, also reasonably priced. The decor was more like a local greasy spoon establishment and in need of an update. The customer service was good and efficient. Not a long wait time for my food.
This is one of the best restaurants in Kalamazoo. Truly an absolute treasure of our area. Delightfully spiced Indonesian & Malaysian dishes with unique flavors, great textures, and excellent quality. The noodle dishes are always great(bakmi goreng java), all of the rendang dishes are amazing with their own unique flavor profiles, and the mi sup asam pedas(spicy seafood soup) is to die for. I'd eat here everyday if I could.
