Our out of town family of 6 decided to dine in and spent a good amount of dollars at this restaurant on a Sunday afternoon. The food took a while to receive and a couple of items were never delivered. The food however was fresh and tasty when we all finally got our plates. After asking for items ordered, one item - fries were received but the okra was never delivered. We also paid for 2 bottles of water but received open cups of water and never was offered a refund. I wish this establishment good luck getting orders correct along with having tasty food!

Slow food preparation. Charged $$ for cups of water. But the food taste and quality was excellent. The Perch was Lake Perch instead of Ocean Perch. Fresh Water Lake Perch is superior to Ocean Perch, and much harder to find. A pleasant Ty's Joint surprise. ?

Drove from Chicago to try this out mad I took the drive had to find somewhere to sit then was asked to moved from our seat and to a seat where originally told me I couldn’t sit after sitting and waiting for food it arrived food was ok the greens no it lamb chops no flavorHad to wait 10 min for utensils until I had to walk to counter and ask againAlso no cranberry sauce for dressing and they have a family dollar across the street I am very upset at this business wasted my drive and time

Best food in kalamazoo. My first time having ty's joint i order catfish, chicken wings and mac and cheese. Best mac and cheese in town! Every bit was like paradise! Atmosphere was chill grown vibes. Great hospitality.

I thought the breakfast box was something they had every day. I have been getting it for months. I Called today and some girl named Meka told me they have certain days and they do not cook breakfast cause it gets hectic but then told me they needed more than two orders. I don't know but this is why it's so hard to support black business. I am black and try but as soon as I Make something a favorite here they come with inconsistency and new rules no one ever heard of I just want to eat. Well on the search for a new breakfast spot. This is hit or miss at this point.
