Hands down the BEST sub sandwich I've had in Michigan since I moved here 3 years ago. They aren't a chain or a franchise. This is a locally owned family business and I highly recommend them. Wally's puts out a superior and extremely yummy product at a reasonable price. It's the only place I'll go for a sub sandwich in Kalamazoo.
Really old school place serving up great subs at great prices. Years ago went every Friday for the Gyro special. Finally made it back this week and they are just as good as I remember. Everyone always had a great attitude and they make extremely fresh tasting subs for the price point.
Had the Saturday Special Pastrami sub on WHEAT, it was excellent! The wheat bread was so so good, better than JJs old wheat sub (which I loved). The service was super fast and the man that took our order was kind, walked us through the menu, and gave us good recommendations. We got our food at the counter and took it to A booth. A+ I'm coming back :-)
