Best Chinese place in town! The American-Chinese option of “create your own” is fabulous however, I recently decided to try the authentic Szechuan menu and now it’s my favorite. So far I’ve tried Z11 and Z12 and both were amazing! I’d also highly recommend the Chefs Soup (thickened broth with chicken, egg drop, and corn).

I've been seeing people rave about this new restaurant so I just had to try it today. Oh boy I am so happy I did because I have found a new place to eat from. The best crab rangoons I have ever had. All of my food was Hot and good quality meat. Happy 4 months today for being in business and may you have many,many more years to come

Big change from Hunan Gardens!!! Thank you for being there but one word of advice-You’re going to need a bigger place! Once everyone else finds out about you, you’ll never be able to sit everyone!

My wife and I just got back from our first dinner at Z&W. They're literally walking distance from our house so it's pretty sad that it took us this long to go . . . I know!First of all, calibrate yourself. If you're looking for a fine dining experience with mood lighting, fancy cocktails and a server attending to your every whim than this isn't the right spot! Z&W's is a simply decorated, doesn't serve alcohol, and has limited staff.However, if you're looking for a place that has both American-Chinese and Authentic-Chinese food that tastes incredible and is served by super friendly people in a clean and hospitable environment, look no further. You've found dinner (or lunch)!!!We started with the best crab rangoons I have ever had in my life. Perhaps that doesn't say much since I don't usually care for rangoons, but my wife is an affiniato and she LOVED them!The rest of dinner was from the "Authentic Sichuan Menu" My wife had Lamb Sichuan Style and I had Sichuan Dan Dan Noodle. Both were exceptional and the proportions were large (wish I had taken pictures). Overall, we had a great experience at a very reasonable price point. This is our new #1 spot in the region for Chinese food!!!Parking: Always plenty of places to park.

Great little place that I didn't know existed until a week ago. Significant portions and very good quality. Inside is a little awkward for dining, but maybe it will evolve. Seems like only 1-2 employees and they hustle. 100% recommend because this is the best place in the Portage/TX Corners area for this food category.

My son and I went here for the first time recently and it was a great experience. We were 'late' for lunch, but it ended up that more people just arrive after 12:30. We wanted to try a lot, so we ordered too much - not a problem since we like leftovers We started with soup - he's egg drop, I'm hot and sour. We prefer the brothy kind and these were more viscous, so we weren't big fans. They still had a good flavor though. On to the crab rangoons with sweet and sour sauce (Delightful!) and fried dumplings and soy sauce (Yum!). We weren't sure whether to get fried or steamed dumplings, and appreciated our server taking the time to talk with us about their preferences and of customers. And we ordered entrees which I was already almost too full to try! Beef and broccoli for me, orange chicken for him. Just wonderful!
