Trout Town Tavern & Eatery Reviews
I have always had a good experience here, the food is always good!
Went to trout town for dinner had fish fry, burgers, dirty tots, club and Mac and cheese. Absolutely delicious. We love coming here. Great environment, staff and of course food. Thank you Trout Town for being our go to.
Another wonderful meal at Trout Town last weekend. Great service for our dinner party of 9 people, the server handled our table like a champ! Delicious food - loved the Frickles!
My fish & chips meal was tasty, loved the tartar sauce. Brisket was pretty dang good. Great portion sizes. French fries and onion rings were yummy too.
Good prices, great portions, right temperatures, and super great service. A must try when you're in Kalkaska!

Trout Town Tavern & Eatery in Kalkaska offers a variety of menu options with delicious flavors. The restaurant has a pleasant atmosphere and impressive service, as noted by their catering experience for a wedding. Guests praise the courteous and attentive staff, generous portions, and tasty food served at the right temperatures. Standout dishes include the turkey bacon avocado sandwich, sweet potato fries, Frickles, fish & chips, and perch. The perch, cod, and walleye are popular choices, with all-you-can-eat options on Fridays. French fries, onion rings, and tartar sauce also receive high marks. The grilled cheese & bacon sandwich is a popular choice, with a nice crunchy outside and soft inside. The tavern is family-friendly, with kid-friendly menu options and locally made root beer. Additionally, the establishment boasts a spacious parking lot and serves excellent barbecue and brisket. The drinks are very tasty and made well, and the salad is delicious with great toppings. With great prices and up-north tavern vibes, it’s a must-try when visiting Kalkaska.
