“Aurora Italiana was an exquisite culinary oasis, luxuriously nestled in West Bloomfield.

Perhaps the most alluring element of this restaurant is the atmosphere. Upon entering, I felt transported to the kind of exclusive & elite restaurants found in New York or Beverley Hills. The lighting & mood was magnificent as a walked through the drapes of cherry blossom-like flowers and intriguing art. The staff was superior! They were hospitable, accommodating & knowledgeable!

Most important, the food was exceptional! I started my meal with the burrata, it was as fresh as that you would find in Alto Adige! The caesar salad was just what should be expected, crisp, flavorful & just the right balance of dressing, cheese & romaine. The filet mignon could be cut with a butter knife & was tender, flavorful & aged to perfection!

We will be sure to visit Aurora Italiana again very soon - MANGIA!“

The food was excellent, the ambiance perfect, and our guardian angel, Besnik, provided excellent suggestions all throughout the night! The Bocce Ball lanes looked to be in good shape and I bet it would make for a fun night with friends. I had the caprese panini. Great flavor, good crisp, and just enough to fill me up.“

“My wife and I used to go to the Sterling Heights Restaurant and loved it very much. Especially their pizza! We ran accross the Clarkston location about 3 years or so ago and have taken many family members and friends there. Unfortunately, they won't serve their larger family size pizza to inside diners. They only serve it to carry out clients. Several times, especially after we were given back our freedom, we were making plans to go to dinner with friends for pizza and I suggested going there. My wife reminded me they only serve personal pan pizza's. Unfortunately, they do not taste the same. So, we choose Pizza Mia in Grand Blanc when we wan't pizza. We do go to Boligna's when it isn't a pizza night. Unfortunate!“

“Nicole was our server, very attentive and fantastic providing recommendations on favored menu options. Shrimp scampi and filet bites for appetizers - Delicious! Dinner salads were even yummy, crisp, fresh vegetables and the dressing was so good! We all enjoyed different meals, eggplant parm, lemon dill salmon, chicken parm, and pasta pesto. We thoroughly enjoyed our dinners, ate too much, and recommend this restaurant AND server to anyone looking for a great place!“

The food was wonderful. Excellent flavor.
The server , Carter gave us excellent service. Very attentive and friendly.

“I have eaten at another location of this local chain so I knew how good the food was so my friends group had one their monthly dinner. Many of the others had eaten at this location before. While most ordered pasta dishes or a pasta salad or salmon, I had my normal, ham and pineapple pizza. Another ordered a different pizza. While the food was wonderful and it was quite enough for our group to talk, the service was a big problem. Slow, not around enough, and another server helped when he heard that one person hadn't gotten his meal. He got us the refills before our server. He saved the day.

I am glad we started at 6:30 since even for a Saturday night they closed at 9. Even with the service problem, our group would like to come back.“

We had the tasty gem salad, crispy chicken thighs, veal parmesean and of course Lucinanos bolognese. We shared everything and I can't say enough about the delicious flavors of everything. “It has been a few years since I last dined here and I believe the overall experience has improved. The food was excellent. I had the house salad and for my entree had the salmon fillet served on a bed of sautéed spinach with cherry tomatoes. The salmon was perfectly done as was the spinach. The salad was crisp and fresh and the dressing was not overpowering. The service was excellent. Attentive but not intrusive. I would definitely recommend dining here and will do so again myself in the near future.“

“Okay, overall. Revisited this place after many years. So my review is based on my previous many visits here.

Food was good. But felt the minestrone soup kind of lacked the taste. Then the main course which had basil pesto mentioned in it however on the plate it was more of a topping. Felt it missed the generous amount usually they gave earlier. Also saw that they removed the pesto sauce from the "create your own pasta". Earlier the breads always arrived much before the soup did, but this time they came much later (not good). Also it used to be 5 in the basket but now we got only 3!!

Our waiter was fine. He was polite and courteous. We had a wait of about 10 mins and I observed that there were many booths free, perhaps less staff available today..

Vegetarian options: Eggplant parmigiana, minestrone soup, build your own pasta etc.“

There is no parking lot for Forrest, however after 5:30 pm and on weekends you can use the AAA Birmingham parking lot which is right next door. Very nice interior. The water glasses are small. Got the minestrona soup. That was super good! God an order of the fried ravioli, and the mozzarella wedges! Both were good but we preferred the ravioli. Got a custom mixed drink and that was delicious! Got the stuffed shells, and the creamy ravioli. Omg both were sooooo good! The best Italian we’ve ever had!!!
