Chicken parm was HUGE (took half to go) and was seasoned perfectly. Hubby had the gnocchi with sausage and said it was FABULOUS! We both added a salad to our meals, house salad for me and Caesar for him. Had the Arancini for an appetizer, and it was soooo good! I usually get the meatballs with the eggplan parmesan. Just delicious! This place makes the best meatballs. Texture is prefect. Flavor is spot on. It comes in a marinara sauce and a generous dollop of creamy riccota. The eggplant parmesan is properly cooked and also delicious. It comes with a side of spagetti. Only critique is the side of pasta lacks sauce. It is a bit pricey, but 2 will eat this for 2 days, so the value is there. This is about as good if not better then most other quality dine in Italian restaurants. And the nicest thing is the staff is excedingly friendly and an absolute pleasure to interact with.“

“Friday night! Time to dine out, right. We were in the mood for Italian and specifically, pasta! My girlfriend and I hadn't visited Palazzo Di Bocce and decided to try it out. After checking the restaurant website I called to make 5pm reservations as recommended. We drove over a little before 5pm and arrived in good time. The funny part is that there were only two other people there and the place is huge! None-the-less, we checked in and were seated immediately. We didn't wait five minutes before Cheyenne, our server, took our drink order and provided menus and wine selection information. She was very helpful throughout the evening. We ordered an appetizer of Bruschetta which was tasty and a little different from the same dish at other restaurants. My girlfriend ordered the Carbonara with a house salad and I ordered the Chicken Marsala with a helping of the Mushroom Soup. When I asked Cheyenne about the soup she confidently told me it would be the best I've ever eaten and she was right! It was delicious! I questioned her regarding wine choices, as I'm not very familiar with Italian wines. She suggested a Sangiovese that was pretty good and at a fair price. As we ate, a gentleman (server) would politely remove unwanted dishes from the table. Both meals were very good - although I think the mashed potatoes were out of a box. Frankly, I thought the Carbonara was much better than my Marsala! Following our meal we enjoyed desert and coffee - also very good. The cannoli I had was the best I'd had in years. (The shells are made fresh and not filled until ordered. So, rather than the typical soggy shell, it was nice and crunchy and of exceptional flavor!) The venue began filling up as we enjoyed our meal and the surroundings are beautiful. Service was excellent. We will return I'm sure and include a round of Bocce!“

The chicken Parmesan was not my favorite, but that’s because the sauce was a little on the sour side (I prefer sweet sauce). I ordered a hot mocha latte for dessert and it’s something I’ll crave for a long time!! The tiramisu was very good - not too sweet and just right. Loved the service and the atmosphere. Flavorful, with a great blend of spices. Crust is soft, and slightly sweet. If it’s game day, or you want a family night meal this is one of my go-to pizza spots. Both were outstanding! 2 of us had the eggplant special and added a meatball and the others had the bolognese and the veal scallopini. So many times you get sloppy, floppy pizza from chain pizza places. This was actually cooked long enough. Everything was golden brown and crispy. I picked up a deep dish, hand tossed, bread sticks, and added on a diet Pepsi at about 12:30 pm today. If the staff can look back and remember what they did for this order, and then just always do that, they would make some of the best pizza. “Nice spot to grab a quick bite if you're in the Royal Oak, MI area. We came after seeing a show at the Royal Oak Theater and it was a good choice. They offer numerous different wood fired pizzas made fresh in front of you in their open kitchen. If pizza isn't your thing there are also many different pasta dishes and small plates available. The atmosphere is casual, and gives you a small Italian pizza shop feel. They also have a small parking lot behind the building to save you from paying to park.“

“I’ve worked at the school a couple buildings down as a lead custodian for over a year, but had never ordered anything before. I just ordered a sausage calzone, ready and picked up within half an hour even though they were obviously swamped. Never before have I had such a great calzone. I picked it up ate like a sandwich and was shocked that it was gone within five minutes! That’s just how good it was. Asked for red pepper flakes and they gave me two packets no extra charge. Let me tell you I always am looking for good Italian sausage these days and am always disappointed, not today. As a proud Italian American I can say with certainty these guys are doing it right!
