“I enjoy eating here but find the service and food can be inconsistent. The food was pretty good this visit. We had wings, carrots and clams along with a couple of drinks. The seasonal margarita was delicious. Our server wasn't very attentive, especially considering there were o ly a few tables occupied and multiple servers.“

It’s such an amazing spot for a private, intimate event—we had around 50 guests, and the space was perfect. The entire process was seamless, the food was unbelievable, and the staff truly went above and beyond to make the day special. Everything exceeded our expectations, and our guests are still talking about how wonderful it was. I would highly recommend D’Amato’s for any special occasion!“

“Tonight I attended a wedding at C & G and could not be more impressed, and also pissed at myself for not patronizing this welcoming restaurant sooner. I’m lactose intolerant and allergic to chicken. The staff was incredibly accommodating and gracious. This is not often a feeling I receive when bringing up food allergies. The food & drinks were so incredibly tasty and the views were unreal. The Train station, spires of St Anne’s and the Ambassador Bridge all in one shot. Turn to the left and you have the beautifully landscaped Roosevelt park to stroll through after enjoying the back porch. I’m so blown away, and so happy my friend finally got me here! We were a party of 6 and the restaurant was more than accommodating. “Casa pernoi is absolutely magnificent! We visited on a rainy October day and were seated outside, facing the most charming roaring fireplace. The atmosphere was incredibly cozy and intimate, it honestly felt like a private dining experience just for us.
The host was an absolute gem, going above and beyond by offering to take beautiful pictures of our plates so we could capture the moment. The food was just as impressive as the setting. The fresh, warm sourdough bread was pure perfection, and the fried eggplant was unbelievably delicious—easily a highlight of the meal.
We cannot recommend this place enough. We are already planning our next visit!“

A huge thank you to our waitress Michelle for being so attentive, friendly, and professional throughout the entire meal. She made sure everything was perfect and truly went above and beyond. “We have been going to this restaurant since 2019. Service is always great. We have tried several entrees over the years and have settled on a few favorites. My wife's is the Tortellini alla Panna. If I'm hungry enough I get the very tender and tasty Braised Short Ribs with Strozzapreti Pasta. If not as hungry, I go with the Lasagna alla Bolognese. We also share a dessert. Our favorite is the Tuxedo Cake which is perfect to share for 2 after those generous-portioned entrees.“

Me and my sister come here every single week, multiple times. ( we gained most our pregnancy weight here hehe ) if it wasn’t for this place I wouldn’t have had a nice balanced diet and properly gained the weight I needed because I struggle eating pregnant.

My sister just had her baby we even came here right before she went to the hospital for a final meal before labor 😂 we missed out on a few weeks but just came back yesterday. We couldn’t stay away for the food is always a huge craved obsession.

Krista, and the chef Franco have become such wonderful parts of our enjoyment here, always check in on us, how we’re doing, and remember the smallest details. We’re always excited to see them, my daughter gets overly joyed and calls them besty😂❤️. Definitely Can’t forget how amazing and sweet Yvonne, Nicole and the manager Chris is too. Never a bad time with any of them, always such good conversations. They’re all such a breath of fresh air and make the meal even more spectacular.

“I went here over the weekend for brunch and it was my first time dining. The restaurant is nice. They opened at 11a, we got there probably a little bit before one and was seated right away. They seemed short staffed while we visited, our waitress was doing everything from taking orders, making drinks behind the bar and bringing food for multiple tables. So we definitely understood and offered patience. I had a pineapple mimosa and my friend had a peach Bellini, the drinks were good. I did try to order a second mimosa and was informed that they ran out of Prosecco (it was prob still a few hours after starting brunch around that time). My friend ordered and omelette and she enjoyed her food. I ordered a fritada, but it wasn’t a frittata. I asked the waitress to double check and she stated that is their frittata. It was more so scrambled eggs with feta on top of spinach. It was good but just definitely wasn’t a frittata, they may want to change the name of that dish 😩“

“Up until tonight, which is New Year's Eve and also my birthday, this restaurant has been my favorite place to eat. Not only is the food spectacular, but the service has always been perfection...until tonight. Usually, the staff is so attentive, and I never have to remind them to bring anything. Tonight, so many things were forgotten and/or incorrect. The server had to be reminded twice to bring us bread. The butter was frozen, so it was impossible to spread, and, in the past, the butter was always room temperature, and that detail was appreciated. Next, my drink was forgotten and the server had to be reminded. My husband requested that his drink be served with dinner which it wasn't and delivered to the wrong person. My friend's meal was incorrect, so she had to sit and watch everyone else eat as she waited. The restaurant did give her a complimentary soup for the mistake, so that was nice. What was probably most upsetting was that we requested dessert plates for cupcakes that we brought and the server told us that we would be charged $20, just for using dessert plates! We weren't asking for a cake to be cut or served, just plates to put our cupcakes on and it was a $20 charge! Absolutely ridiculous, especially since we were a group of 7 that ordered drinks and dinner. So, we had to have our cupcakes in the parking lot. Last, the server told us that they could not split up a bill, so we had to sit there figuring out all the math, and the server used the cash that was part of his tip from one friend to reduce the balance from another friend's bill who was paying with a credit card. It was such a mess, and I was very disappointed. This used to be my favorite restaurant for years, but with so many mistakes, it's hard to want to come back, which is a shame because the food is amazing. My advice is to not come for large parties! I hope management fixes the training of their servers. It used to be outstanding. Not sure who dropped the ball so far.“
