Gonella's is the only place to go for an old school layered sub. The bread is amazing, delicious, and comes in hard roll or soft. Layer after layer of tasty cold cuts make a perfect sandwich. All the Italian subs come in one size, with a choice of 6-12 layers of meat and cheese. The eight layer and six layer are popular choices. Everything is always fresh, and the bread is fresh and tasty. Awesome salad bars and deli coolers make the place a perfect one stop for lunch or a party. Deli sides like macaroni salad and pasta salad are available. The prices are great and very reasonable. The service is the best, great by all employees, who are friendly and helpful. This is a little hidden gem in Redford. Without a doubt, these are the best Italian subs in the state. Party trays and platters are amazing as well. Support your local businesses!
