Locals flock to this hidden treasure and its food deserves a spotlight far bigger than their modest storefront suggests. The menu is consistently good, reasonably priced and all made from scratch. Order the Philly omelette and your tastebuds will scream like Stanley in “A Streetcar Named Desire.”“

“A friend and I enjoyed breakfast today at Anna's House.Our server, Patty, took very good care of us! Her service, and our food were Fantastic. One comment though, my friend didn't get the chocolate chips on his pancakes that he ordered, but that was easily fixed when Patty brought a container of them and a dish of whipped cream as well. We enjoyed our food and the service was top notch.Thank you Anna's House, and Thank You Patty!☺️“

“This place is a go-to spot for me and my boyfriend, I love their potatoes with onions. New Beginnings is by far the best value I've ever seen at a breakfast spot; you can get a 3rd egg for free, and you will never leave hungry. The staff is nice too, the place has a local small business feel to it and I leave happy every time I come here.“

“We enjoy the quality and preparation of the food. Today we enjoyed a classic Reuben and an Irish Benedict. Both yummy! The restaurant was almost empty at lunchtime. We were so surprised and talked with two of the waitresses. I hope business picks up soon for you all!“
“Miss rose is the best my family and I been coming for almost 20 years. She has always been there. Knows my family loves everyone equally. She keeps us coming back. I slipped up went to dennys worst mistake of my life I will drove the extra 20 minutes just for the good service and food. It's hard to find people that actually love their job and sje does it shows. “I love this restaurant reminds me of going to the classic diners with my grandparents in the 80s. It's like every time I walk into a new beginnings restaurant it reminds me are the diners from 40 years ago and I'm instantly hit with nostalgia.
The staff are super friendly amazingly courteous and professional and the food is wholesome comfort food which always to me can turn a bad day into a good day just with a simple cup of coffee some eggs toast sausages... Nothing Better“

“Cute little restaurant that serves up kitchey-themed souhthwest food. Breakfast items were a few bucks higher than other breakfast places. My scramble bowl contained lots of potatoes. Only a few slivers of bacon, 2 eggs and cheese. An order of toast is just one slice of toast. Pancakes were just ok. Kind of rubbery.
The Santa Fe Chicken wrap was delicious. It was stuffed full with generous portion of fries. Service was attentive, polite and friendly.
Bathrooms were clean but they were out of soap.
We’d probably come back for lunch, but not breakfast.“

“We are a Greek family and love the Greek dishes that Leo's Coney Island offers. We have dined there frequently, often bring friends. The food is always good and the service fantastic. That being said; however, we have decided not to dine there any longer during the cold months, as the owner chooses to keep the dining room quite frigid. We heat our home at 68 degrees and are comfortable at that temp. We have tried mutliptle visits to Leo's Coney Island this winter...and each time the dining room has always been uncomfortablly chilly. When we pay to go out to eat, dining with our winter coats on and still being cold is not a relaxing or enjoyable dining experience. We gave it another try last night visiting around 5:30pm (hoping the furnace was turned up). The dining area was extremely C-O-L-D! This could be why there were not many customers there? We asked the waitress if the heat could be turned up, and she replied, "No, the only person allowed to adjust the temperature is the owner, and he is not here". NOTE to Owner: Saving money by turning down the heat in the cold of winter does not provide a pleasant dining experience for your customers and certainly cannot be good for your business! “We both ordered omelets with hash browns. There was so much food that it covered the plates. I ordered tea and they gave a nice selection of tea bags.
The omelets were so big we couldn't finish them. They were very big! And tasted wonderful! I went back there with friends and ordered the mushroom burger which also was very good. Good food and service!“
