Loved the food, daal tadka, butter lamb and garlic naan. Very reasonable prices especially when you consider how much food costs now. Very friendly service. Not many people dining in, just my wife and me plus a family of four. I could see that a significant percentage of business is takeout/delivery. Indian coffee was delicious. First time trying it. It kind of reminds me of a coffee with chocolate malt in it. We would dine here again.

My favorite part was the food, but the rest was good too. We ordered the papadams, which were deliciously crisp and had a good taste of caraway. The garlic naan had a healthy portion of garlic. One of our group ordered the samosas with chickpeas, and they come out with sauces and chickpeas. It was so good that I had to steal a few bites. Both of our other entrees were excellent. For what it's worth, the price seemed very reasonable compared to similar Indian restaurants.

I’ve been a long time customer of Pals, about 8 years or so. It all started when a co-worker and I visited for lunch. It’s the best Indian food in Grand Rapids, period. I’ve tried other places and nothing compares. They are so kind, consistent, and the food is so delicious I crave it often. It’s what made me realize that Indian food was my favorite kind of food. Will be a forever fan of them and their beautiful family owned business. About to place a pickup order now!
