“My husband and I came here for my 28th birthday and had such an amazing experience! Our waiter was very kind, the food was outstanding, and the atmosphere was amazing. We had calamari as our starter and I had the mushroom ravioli and my husband had the steak and we loved all of it! For dessert we ordered a s’mores dessert and were pleasantly surprised! I heard they have a speak easy type of lounge downstairs which is unfortunately closed on Mondays which was the day we went. But I’ll definitely be going back go see it!“

“I went picked Brass Ring Brewing to celebrate my birthday with my family. I choose Brass Ring because I was interested in trying their cask ales. What I found at Brass Ring was a level of customer service that I have rarely found across the food service industry. We showed up at Brass Ring to find that a very large group was dining there, taking up a majority of the seating. They don't take reservations, so it was going to be a challenge finding a table for our group of 6. The owner heard the staff struggling to find us an available table. He jumped in and found a solution. He personally asked a couple that was seated at a large table if they would be willing to move. They graciously accepted to make room for us. This level of customer service has obviously been trained into the entire staff because our waiter was the most helpful and hospitable server I've ever encountered. Firstly, he was extremely knowledgeable of food and drink menu, helping us to navigate it superbly. He also got the entire restaurant to sing "Happy Birthday" with us when it was time for dessert. The food and drinks were top notch, but the customer service was out of this world. Do yourself a favor and treat yourself to the Brass Ring. You will not be disappointed!“

“I had such a great experience at Crumbl cookies today.
It was my cheat day for the month and I had been CRAVING. A soft cookie. I decided on Crumbl since it had been a while.
I went in and the store was clean, everyone seemed to be in a good mood, and the employee that helped me was really nice. I didn’t know what flavor to get and I didn’t want to get something and be disappointed, and jokingly told the employee that it would literally ruin my whole day if I took a risk and ended up not liking it. 💀🤣 which I mean is kind of true. So I asked which one was his favorite which was the Oreo one. I got it, waited maybe two minutes. And then a different employee handed me my cookie with a big smile on her face! I told her necklace was so pretty! Because it reminded me of lord of the rings.
Anyway, When I got to the car I opened the box, snapped a pic for the gram, then took a bite. It was SO good!!!! 😊😭🩷
10/10 will return for my next cheat day.

They’re kind, thoughtful, and good humans, the sort of people you want to be friends with. You can put your feet up here and just be yourself. It’s something to write home about, with interesting flavors, delicious and unexpected combinations (even for this foodie). They are known for their sours, but their slushies are extraordinary and I love their NA options. I always find something I love here, and not just one something, many somethings. Speciation is the place to meet friends or to come and work or to make new friends or to play trivia. There’s even a patio with lawn games. Speciation is the place to come in Grand Rapids, whether you’re from here or visiting for the weekend. It’s just right.“

“My family eats here every time we visit downtown. They are kind to our daughter but the atmosphere is also great for a date. I have also dropped in for lunch between work meetings and the service is fast for a tight schedule. The Black Dragon roll is great!“

“Five stars! We ended a week of camping with a vehicle delay on our way home and stopped for lunch at Big Bob’s while my husband took the truck to get fixed. First of all, the food was amazing (our son said the deep dish was better than Giordano’s). But more importantly, Rob and his staff took were beyond hospitable to our 3 kids and I as we spent the next 5 hours utilizing their Uno cards, Connect Four and enjoying their complementary popcorn. If you’re ever in the Grand Rapids area we highly recommend giving them a try. We’ll definitely be back next time we come through Grand Rapids.“

“This is authentic Louisiana boil. If you prefer fin to she'll they have the dish for you. You can make it hot or Not. They have crab in shell and everything is customizable. During the pandemic everything is served on leek proof containers and food is still hot when you get home. There is nothing fancy here served as out would be on the beach. They have generous portions for the price. This little place is a must try.“

“Myrth was a great experience! My partner and I went right at open on a Sunday. We were basically the only ones in there, which is surprised for how cozy it is. We had a Holland Harbor mocktail to start and it reminded me of an adult Hi-C! Very good! We ordered a Margarita Pizza to split at an Appetizer. The pizza was very delicious and the crust was soft and flaky. Sometimes wood fired pizzas can have a tougher crust, but this one was great except for a little softness in the middle where the oils and things pooled. It just made the first bite a little difficult, but the rest of the slice was killer! Next, we ordered two pasta dishes. My partner ordered the Radiatore. I have to preface that most of the time when we eat Italian and I ask my partner how the noodles are, they respond with "Okay" but Myrth managed to get a "Very Good" out of them! The sauce was super good. I ordered the Penne with Fennel Sausage and I took was impressed. The red sauce was light and very tomato forward. The sausage chunks were delicious. For dessert we had a Cappuccino and a scoop of Chocolate Sorbet. The chocolate sorbet was super chocolatey and dairy free which was awesome. It definitely curbed any sweet tooth that we had after dinner. The cappuccino was very good as well. I had never been asked if I wanted sugar in my Cappuccino before, and I panicked and said no. What came out was a very delicious, but not sweet drink. In the future I would order it with sugar to get that traditional Cappuccino feel. It was awesome I had the choice though! Our meal and tip was about $110 overall. Very affordable in comparison to eating at Olive Garden where I would spend the same amount of money and get very lack luster Italian food. The price and quality of the entire Farm to Table local Michigan Products made Myrth an enjoyable experience. We will definitely be coming back.“

“It's rare to find a brewery with equally great beers and great food--Greyline delivers! We ordered a couple of flights and liked the Mosacca, Fade, and Hopsicle the most. For an app, we ordered the homemade cheese dip (they also have free popcorn), which was good. For our food, we ordered the Jive Chicken and Foghorn Blue (homemade potato salad!) sandwiches. They were both outstanding!! Great, easy to talk to and informative staff. Great experience, we'll be back!!“
