“Dining tonight was a real treat. My favorite part, when I asked for a dessert recommendation, the response was: “there’s one that’s making people really happy right now!” - that’s actually how I would describe each dish we had tonight. They made me really happy. They made me smile. And a bonus…just ask what drink to pair with each plate and you’ll get a perfect recommendation. Borrow some time out of your busy life and go to Borrowed Time. It’s time well spent.“

“We rarely go out for breakfast/brunch but decided to to go out for our 25th anniversary. Joey immediately greeted us with his warm smile and helped up find a seat. He then went through the menu and gave us his recommendations and boy was he spot on. I ordered the crab cake Benedict which I say with zero exaggeration was THE best crab cake that I have ever had. It is stuffed with crab and is crispy on the outside while being soft and delicious on the inside. The hollandaise is THE best I have ever had being so creamy with a hint of sweetness. It was like a work of art with each layer revealing something even more delicious. The egg was perfectly cooked and yet a hidden gem under the crab. It was a feast for the eyes and the stomach! My husband had the chicken and waffles. I am not a waffle person but this was something that was out of this world good! Plus, the chicken was crispy and moist with that hot honey that gave it a kick with delicious sweetness! The unsuspecting treat was the Green Envy drink, I rarely order anything but water but decided to try something new. It was beyond refreshing with its savory (my mouth is watering thinking about it) yet sweet notes mingled together. Between Joey and the amazingly kind yet talented staff, we went back two days in a row. This is easily our favorite restaurant. You will not be disappointed!!“

“This place is worth it! This is not a winery but has a tasting room with fantastic, reasonable wines to taste. The staff is so nice. Then you can wander and look at some fantastic art while drinking wine. If museums offered wine to wander, I would visit all the museums!! Wish we caught the guy's name doing the tastings. He was very knowledgeable and entertaining.“

“Be nice there are younger people who work here . Probably their first job . Very cute concept. Plenty of outdoor seating(picnic tables) Prices are cheaper than most restaurants downtown. A little slower than i thought it would be . I did order online to got there & my order wasn’t ready yet in which. They explained why and made up for it. They do charge a small fee for ordering online. Super sweet staff. Although I do believe my sandwich had the wrong cheese . It was still decent I mean it is a grilled cheese shack not a 5 star bouji restaurant . If you want something simple & quick for the most part. They do have corn hole boards as well. I’d definitely come here if you have little ones who can’t sit still in a restaurant. Small variety . But it’s a grilled cheese. If you have a bigger order prepare to wait .“
“My husband and I visited for the first time this past weekend twice! One afternoon we went for drinks and an appetizer - the pretzel was great! Then we came for dinner the next night. I had the chicken wrap and he had chicken tenders - both were excellent. Service was great both times as well. Saturday night we stayed for live music which was great entertainment.“

“Just a quick stop while walking around in the downtown area. We heard the food was good and it did not disappoint. I ordered the fresh perch dinner, which was absolutely fantastic. My friend ordered a pot roast burger with tater tots fried to perfection!! We also ordered the Walleye bites and they were absolutely phenomenal, I could have ate just a big plate of those. Great prices great service, definitely check them out.“

“A truly magnificent experience. We were only in MI for the week, and had to make Wild Dog Grille a repeat. The staffing was excellent. Eric, Donna, and Diamond went above and beyond to make our visit with our fur baby Jaxon Bleu comfortable, inviting, and beyond expectations. The food is incredible. It was definitely the treat of a lifetime for our 34th anniversary trip. We’re planning a re-visit in the near future.“

“The staff who helped me select some wine to try was phenomenal! I am not very knowledgeable when it comes to wine! She was very kind, helpful and made me feel comfortable. She explained everything so well! I absolutely enjoyed sitting out by the fire and the staff was wonderful about checking in and refilling if needed.“
