“This restaurant came recommend to me as the best steakhouse in Grand Rapids. I was not disappointed. The staff was friendly (Kathryn) and answered all my questions. The atmosphere is perfect for a fancy date. Very romantic setting to impress. I don't drink alcohol and they had an alcohol free 0% Giasen Merlot which was exquisite. I started with French Onion Soup and Cheese Popover Muffins. For an entree, I had Australian Rib Lamb Chops with a Mint Demi Glase. For a side, I enjoyed Brussels Sprouts with Honey Dijon Mustard Sause. Everything exceeded my expectations and the Merlot paired nicely with the Lamb Chops. I highly recommend the Chop House as a must visit dining destination in the heart of Grand Rapids.“

“My husband and I went for a work Christmas party…the food was phenomenal.servers were great,Kurt and Ben ,knew how to keep us happy.I suggest the shrimp,sweet potatoes and the stuffed chicken.but honestly you won’t be disappointed in anything you order.“

“Details matter. I wanted to get a reservation for the 13th evening for an anniversary dinner. Checked the menu for appropriate food - I'm specifically meat and potatoes. Got it, going with the Ribeye and Au Gratin potatoes, side of spinach. All set - No reservation later than 1400, OK will go with that. It's a little early for dinner, but hey, if the food is as advertised, I can make adjustments. Show up at 1400, great welcome, nice booth, BUT the menu doesn't look anything like what we had discussed for three days. Come to find out they do a brunch until 1700. Almost no meat and fries are potatoes, I guess.
Minus all the above. Had an excellent fillet. It was probably the best I have had in 20 years, but I'm usually a ribeye guy. Truffle fries were very nice - I eat them plain, so they were fine. My wife liked the mustard, I heard it was. I had the wedge salad, which was a wedge salad - My wife consumed the pork bellies that came with it.
What to do about a review: The standard of what we got was excellent; the service was good; My disappointment was that nowhere in the documentation or reservation process did anyone say it was a brunch or an abbreviated menu. I came for the ribeye - Wont be back.“

“Everything was excellent ...the food, the service. My first time at Longhorn. I got the outlaw...it was cooked to perfection. Best restaurant steak I've ever had anywhere. Thank you Longhorn.
Also, it was my birthday, so the gave me a free desert. Very nice“

“The food was great but it is very busy and even with a reservation we waited 40 minutes. It also was very loud and although the server was trying her best service was so so at best with the amount of tables. As for the food the salad bar was ok with some items like the salami not being very good. The meat served at table was fantastic but the quality of the sides varies greatly. Desert was unfortunately not very good. The Brazilian cheesecake was nearly frozen and mostly tasteless. The meal was very good overall but the cost was high at 80 not including tip for one person unless you are very hungry.“

“I cannot remember our servers name from this afternoon at Logan’s in Walker, MI but he was absolutely phenomenal! Very nice guy and always made sure we had full drinks etc. of course the food is always great but he will be the reason we come back again. Definitely need more employees like him!! Made sure to give him almost a 50% tip! Well done sir! My mom and I were both talking about you an hour after we left. Haha.“

“The waiter/bartender was excellent even though he was obviously crazy busy. My soup was lukewarm, but he replaced it and made sure it was hot. The potatoes in the loaded baked potato soup didn't have good flavor or texture. But otherwise the soup was good.
The onion rings tasted great but there was a lot oil under them so I lined my plate with napkins to remove surface oil on the breading. The batter and the seasoning used were very good.
My sister's steak was fabulous!
I don't mind sitting in the bar area except it gets a little noisy and distracting with everything going on (blenders, shaking iced drinks, the sports on the tv.) That's why I dinged one star for atmosphere.
Also, the price point is so high at Logan's now. It's hard to eat without spending over $15 on an Entrée, and steaks are even higher. There should be some cheaper entrees, even a special of the day price dropped by a couple of bucks.“

“yes it's a good place to dine at just need a little more attention on the cleaning especially late evening! stopped in today about 8:45p floors not swept potatoes all smashed on floor napkins thrown underneath.“
