Consistent great Hibachi, my favorite!! All the vegetables were fresh and properly cooked, lots of chicken. Their onion dressing for salads is so good you want to drink the extra at the end, straight from the bowl. Best fresh sushi in Kentwood. They have an extensive menu to choose from. You can never go wrong, it's all good.

We have tried every sushi restaurant in grand rapids. This surpassed everyone. Freshest fish. Never had a bad meal or service in years. Appetizer sampler is a good way to start. Or miso soup or ginger salad. If new to sushi or hesitant about uncooked meat. Try unagi- it's a sweet cooked eel sushi. Caterpillar maki, dynamite maki, are great ones to start. Want to try more variety. Try the rainbow maki. -has 3-4 different types of fish. Doing Keto? Try sashimi. Got picky kids who don't like sushi..try the chicken katsu and some fried rice.Want dessert - try the Matcha ice cream! Worth every penny. On busy days expect a longer wait but it's completely worth it! Trust me!Kid-friendliness: We taken our 3kids here for years. Amazingly friendly and welcoming! Have high chairs and boosters. Also chop stick connectors for kids.

Sandy gave us a great experience as first time customers. We got there at 8:30pm when they close at 9, STILL she let us eat at peace offer us to get more food out for us if we wanted and gave us 2 free plates to go! Overall it was clean, the food was good too and atmosphere was very calm. 1st time coming will be back!

Let me introduce myself, I'm a Field Service Engineer and travel all over the US. The service at this restaurant was average at best. Let's talk about the food, their menu is so large you can't be good at everything and they are not. When I ordered Unagi, they took the eel out of the cellophane, put some sauce on it and stuck it in the microwave for 13 seconds. When I put it in my mouth, it basically melted and the texture was slimy and not my favorite. I've been to Kentwood Michigan for work. This will definitely not be on the return list. I understand you have to cater to your clientele, but Unagi in the microwave you've got to be kidding me. I won't be visiting this establishment again.
