“We normally like everything at Sideline’s but today ordered the shrimp fettuccine. Normally very good. Today it was so salty you couldn’t eat it. The manager came out a blamed it a the prep chef. They did offer to make another meal. The issue I had was they kept serving that sauce to other customers. Someone is going to get very sick.. I can’t believe a real chef would continue to serve that.“

“I can’t recommend Toledo Pickle enough! From the amazing pickle ball courts, to the absolutely fantastic food, this is the place to go downtown! The staff has been amazing every time I go, I’ve tried multiple things in the menu and have raved about each one, the beers/drinks are great, and of course, the pickleball is great too! We are so lucky to have a spot like this in our area, so GO!! Make sure we help keep Toledo Pickle going years to come!!“

“We came here for dinner and there were 7 of us. Hostess told us there was not a table available so they put us on a list. Than she told us we had to wait in our car. My grandchildren were busy playing on the game machines so I asked her if we could just hang out by the games and she was very rude to me and said we were in the way. So we had to take the small children outside and wait. So than we kept seeing people coming in with the same amount of people being seated before us. Finally when we were seated the waitress took our order and we literally waited for an hour and a half for our food. The waitress got an attitude with us when we asked about our order instead of apologizing to us. I probably would of understood if the place was busy but by the time we sat down all the tables around us were empty. I felt very disrespected and felt like the hostess and the waitress were very rude . Also the food was terrible. I will never go to this place ever again. Terrible customer service“

“Came in on Saturday night after seeing the DN all over Facebook. Upon first impression, fun entertaining bar with good music. The karaoke was super fun. We sat at the bar and the first bartender was ok. We ordered an appetizer and decided to order our food at the same time because it took her over 30 minutes to even get us a menu. She forgot to put the food in at all. App came out but we then waited over an hour for our food, which was never put in. Totally fine, people make mistakes. I'm sure they're still working out some kinks. The evening bartenders were MUCH better than the afternoon bartenders. Fun, interesting atmosphere. Not sure if I would go back specifically to eat, but it's not a bad place to drink and be entertained. We liked that there were things going on - nacho eating contest, Carbliss rep with samples, karaoke. Fix the serving issues and the place would run much more smooth.

Came in again to give it another shot on Wednesday 1/7. We were never greeted at the door and after about 8ish minutes we decided to seat ourselves. Waited in the booth for about 15 minutes, nobody came over to us. Waitresses kept looking at us and walked right by us every time. Decided to leave to go eat somewhere else, as we had just gotten off work and were hungry. I'm trying to give some grace, but the service has just been off every time we go. We want this place to succeed since it's close to home and seems like a fun place to hangout. The service just genuinely sucks.“

“we have been visiting Sidelines, in general, for a LONG TIME. We have been going to this location for several years. It has gone so downhill. Qe came in tonight, after not visiting for 2 months, and it was still disappointing. barely anyone in the restaurant (staff) and we were here over half an hour before our food came out. They were not even busy. They burger was average at best. Grilled chicken tenders with 2 sides of fries came out looking like a kids portion and the Mac and cheese with chicken was dry. PLEASE bring this location back to what it used to be!“

“I just moved to Sylvania and I came to VI and tried the pizza. I wasn’t expecting much and it was way above my expectations. I then tried the smash burger next. Again, it was way above my expectations. It was one of the best smash burgers I had. Taylor who is very friendly and informative every time I come in, recommended the Cuban. Which I tried that next and it was amazing. I have had it 4 times now and it’s the best Cuban I’ve ever had. I also learned they smoke their own meats which you can tell immediately. I met Tony the kitchen manager and he actually takes pride in his job and cares about the customers. Which this day and age is completely surprising and almost extinct from the workplace. Everyone is nice and welcoming. All the waitresses are hot. Food is great. Everyone is nice and friendly including the clientele. If you like pizza come here. And if you love sandwiches and burgers, come here.“

“Honestly good times has become my go to place to hang out! I always have a blast the bartenders are so nice especially Mariah! Love playing pool with who ever and I always leave laughing and smiling! The owner is always there and I see him making laps and helping the bartenders out by getting drinks for people as-well. I would definitely recommend this bar as a place to hang out! Added plus is the bathrooms are actually normally clean asf!“

“Eclectic decor in a super cool old building that was the first building in Downtown Toledo to be wired for electricity! Wow we sent our compliments to the chef, everything was absolutely delicious and perfectly cooked and beautifully presented. They have won awards for their original cocktails and the bartender did not disappoint. Excellent waitress who deserved every penny of her tip. We will be back!“

She was friendly from the moment we sat down, made sure our drinks were always full, and checked on us just the right amount. She has a great sense of humor and kept us laughing throughout the meal while still being professional and attentive.

Even when the restaurant was busy, she stayed positive, worked quickly, and made sure everything came out correctly. You can tell she genuinely cares about her customers and wants everyone to have a good experience. Her personality, energy, and customer service made our visit so much better.
