We were in the UP from 9/20--9/28 staying in Michigamme. We ate breakfast here twice. The food was great and the server (same one both times) was pleasant and did a great job with our 2 year old granddaughter!! Just wish we could order the Cinnamon loaf on line!!

Dining room open again since January. Excellent service and food. Great spot for breakfast. We had chocolate chip and blueberry pancakes, eggs, sausage, bacon, toast, and coffee. Cute gift shop and, of course, baked goods including the famous giant sweet rolls. Dining room closes at 3 pm Sunday and Monday.

Kid-friendliness: Accommodating and welcoming to my two little ones.

I’m giving 5 stars for the cinnamon rolls, which are GIANT and delicious. Pillowy, with great frosting. Totally worth the stop on our roadtrip. Didn’t sit down or experience service other than the cash register.
